Pretty sure whatever technique you're talking about involves using those generic plastic rings. Just to note there is a big difference from those and elastic. Entirely different. The results are much more solid and sustainable.

I've seen lots of images of those guys who mutilate themselves by overpump with that technique (including their ballos). That method is not the same, and is much more dangerous, because it doesn't safely stick to constrained proportions. It involves overblowing the tissue, and they end up with these bloated results that are truly unsustainable, and become entirely impotent in ways. That is why they continue with the technique, because they damage themselves to the point where continuing to pump is all they have.

This technique is much safer by nature, so long as you're sticking to the proper dimensions as I've suggested. The diameter is key. You only need to so much diameter for it to become more than enough, that amount is about 2.5". Anything exceeding that is far too much, and it distorts the entire physical proportions of the technique.

At most, with this technique you can increase the length of the pump by small amounts. I would recommend like 2" at most. So if you're at like 7.5, you can try a 10in pump, but a 9in one would probably be safer. I have yet to experiment with the length extension possibilities.

I've stuck with the same pump 7.5 x 2.5 with safe and great results. I have reduced erectile sensitivity (in a good way), but it's not dead by any means as it become when overbloating with the clamping technique you've suggested. I can still get it rock hard, and if I fap, I still get awkward boners for the next couple days.

The elastic even works great by itself to slowly but surely increase the strength of the muscles at the base of the shaft (through the acute microdamage done to the muscle tissues from the elastic pressure). This is about the only and safest way to truly build through muscle fibers up through microdamage (like you would do the rest of the muscle in your body).

It's definitely not the same thing you're talking about. It's worlds apart, much safer and much more successful so long as you're not over-exceeding certain important restrictions.
