How deep should I wipe?

Got into a heated debate with my buddy today. I normally only go to the first knuckle when i wipe cause i want to balance good hygiene with nohomo, but my friend goes 2 knuckles and says it's still nohomo and thinks i'm a sik fuk for not wiping that deep. I'm worried if i go deeper it'll risk a prolapse or relapse (or even just a first stuffing) but is it really so disgusting to only go to one knuckle. What's the normal depth? Worried to take another chit until I find out how deep I should be wiping. Any doctors please help too.
