You can buy packages of 1000 followers for a few bucks. There's also things where you tag a couple random Instagram users in a comment and you get tons of followers for it (no idea how it works though)

I made a fake IG fitness account. It's a girl who "offers workout plans and diet guides" and posts a bunch of bullchit motivational fitness quotes.

I butcher the hell out of them to where there are lots of typos, and it doesn't even make sense. I also place these quotes over a highly-filtered close-up image of a vagina.

Once in a while, i'll post a skanky pic, that helps. I spam hash tags too.

It's amazing how many likes and followers I get for how little effort.
