One side of the street you have wealthy oil merchants in their gold laden apartments and luxury cars, and in the other you have extreme poverty, homeless, and dirty shacks.

These guys got extremely lucky, and now have arrogant kids revving Ferraris around the streets of London, and showing off like Mo Vlogs on YouTube. Awful, awful place exposing the worst of humanity.

This. They aren't the only modern nation with slaves though. The number of people living in slavery in India, and the way the slaves there are treated, is absolutely astonishing. I've seen people there chained up in fields all alone like animals. Why the West ignores the issue and does nothing about it, I don't (want to) understand. Srs.
