Seventy five years ago, Japan lashed out for social justice....

Hard to believe that we don't celebrate this day in memory of a direct attack on white privilege, microaggression, institutional racism, homophobia, and misgendering the LGTBQ community.

Not srs.

Glad that Japan ultimately got what was coming to them. Everyone focuses on German atrocities, but the Japanese were every bit as bad. Only difference is that we let them surrender and avoid paying reparations.

Japanese were probably worse than the Germans.
If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary

Yeah the Japs were bad when it came to civilians and POWs, though Russia and Germany were both pretty horrific as well. The Allies don't have a clear conscience either though, strategic fire bombing and the atomic bombings both killed thousands of civilians. I think the lesson should be that war is bad and we shouldn't repeat what happened.

And more civilians died in the Tokyo raids then Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
