Okay so I drink vary seldomly. Maybe once a month? And I prefer it to be alone, while chilling with a video game, or maybe watching a funny TV show, but I'm not opposed to drinking with friends, you know?

Drinking alone is fine if you are watching a movie or gaming. The problem is people who must drink and they get smashed alone consistently.

I'm hoping drinking will be like taking selfies soon. Back in the day if you took a selfie you'd get made fun cause thats weird as chit

But srs, I tried drinking alone, that chit sucks and is boring. It's like waiting for a party to happen that will never happen. I can only enjoy drinks when I go out

It has everything to do with the latter, but nothing to do with the bolded.
Alcohol is a depressant, but not in the sense that it makes you depressed. Alcohol slows down activity in the central nervous system, and that's why it's called a depressant.
