She's well spoken. However, she claims it's racist for people to classify those using "slang" and whatnot as improper English.


In other words, if you watch a world star hip hop video, they're speaking proper English. To say otherwise is adhering to white supremacy.

I personally dont have any issues with people speaking any differently than what is considered normal speech. If I can understand what a person is trying to communicate then I am A-Okay.

Wouldn't call it racist but it is kind of offensive, making fun of someone because of where they were brought up.

And personally, I think they are speaking proper English in WSHH videos, it's just a different way of speaking.

part of the thing about language is that it's always evolving. You stay with the times or you get left behind brah.

A couple 100 years ago some random ******* had a few too many drinks and now his dialect has flooded our education system all the way from high school to university. I'd rather have students learning about how a lot of people actually talk in real life even if that means learning the meaning of "low key" or "real talk" rather than: "thou canst not then be false to any man."
