Why is everyone in love with Obama?

I don't think he was that great. All he really was just charismatic and a good public speaker.
Other then that, America spiralled downwards during his watch. H

- He's the only president in history to be at war for his entire 2 terms.
- Race Relations are the worst they've ever been under his presidency
- America is in crippling debt
- Unemployment doubled in his first term and is still higher then when he took over
- America's international relations are arguably at an all time low with even it's Allys questioning them
- He broke more promises then I can remember any politician breaking (which is saying something)
- He selectively imposes laws
- He pushes his own agenda rather than remaining impartial when he should

That's just the tip of the iceberg

I mean there's argument that he's not only not a good president but he could go down in history as one of the worst ever.
I mean at the end of the day he can talk and that apparently is all that matters when it comes to how the public views you as a president instead of judging you on your actions.

His agenda was never to make America better than when he took over office. Quite the contrary actually. I won't elaborate on that because it'll make me look like a conspiracy theorist. You can connect the dots for yourself

Political scholars would disagree with your sentiment. They rank Obama as being a relatively solid president, within the top 20. If you only watch biased news outlets, then sure you would probably place him close to the very bottom or close to the very top, but your(humans) feelings are irrelevant to legitimate ranking systems.

I get people criticizing Obama for genuinely bad policy decisions like those in Syria and Obamacare but the bolded are just straight up not true

Middle eastern conflicts were pretty much designed by neocons...and yet now people are trying to sit here and pretend they actually gave a fukk about the lives of muslims or that they never supported the "bomb them back to the stone age" philosophy that many chickenhawks paraded.
