Tbh I have tons of events and advice that over the years that has changed me a lot in very positive ways.

Everyone from my speech teacher my freshman year of college that changed my life and fear of public speaking forever.

To my college coach that got me into lifting, turned me into a man, was so brutal and harsh to me every single day.

To my personal life events, etc etc.

But honestly the one piece of advice that greatly changed my way of thinking will make you laugh because of how simple it is. And even funnier is where I heard it.

The phrase that changed my life is"If not you, then who."Out of all these other things that I have gone through, this resonated with me the most. I saw it in a Mark Bell video on YouTube LMFAO. But I was at a point where I wasn't sure of things, wasn't sure of my direction, and wasn't sure of myself and if I was good enough to do certain things. But that one phrase is something I repeat to myself everyday now. As soon as I wake up, throughout the day, before bed. That phrase just made me realize, even in its simplicity, that anyone can be great and achieve anything. What makes that person so much more special than me? Why not me? Why should I care about others expectations?
Anyways, figured I'd see what everyone would say. Just finished reading about an hour ago and have been doing a lot of self introspection today.

Losing my first job out of college 3 or 4 months into it. Went into deep depression for almost a year but got a chance to evaluate where I messed up and where I want to go in life. Parents had marriage issues and my dog got hit by a car and died during that year as well. Definitely learned more through that experience than anything beforehand, including 6 years of university.

It was Tai Lopez who said that and as much as he gets ripped on here he's extremely smart and offers a lot of knowledge.

i honestly have trouble with motivation and look to inspiration that comes and goes. a lot of the times words are meaningless to me and the only thing that matters is acting on instinct and actions instead of sitting there thinking about doing something I want to do. Planning helps, but here's what I mean.

I wanted to make a lot of money but sitting on my ass hoping for something to happen wasn't doing sht but burn up time. So for me, until my back was up against the wall and I didn't have any money for food, I looked for a better lifestyle and job that would do so and hustled hard. I did so without thinking because I thought of only the consequences. I almost feel like luck was on my side because if I didn't get this job or position I may have ended up losing my car, no money for rent, insurance etc.

So the only thing I can think of is harnessing that sort of mentality when my back is up against the wall but at all times and to get the things I want, then I'll truly have success. It seems like we all mainly get to a point of satisfaction and relax and act like we have all the time in the world when in a blink of an eye it can go away just like that. yes I, tune5k wrote this no copypasta thumbs up avi

I figured this out on my own and it only works if your doing it to the right people and your the right kind of person, but what i learned is you need to be the one to intimidate and make people feel your above them, especially if its a corporate kind of setting its easy as hell to do and you will rarely get called out in that kind of setting. you will benefit and get ahead.

also take advantage of everything you can, thats a part of what i just said ^^^, cuz why would you want to be some meek ******* who doesnt take all thats his and gets trampled over?

dont try that chit with street people tho cuz they will actually want to fuack you up lol.


You also have to look the part, for whatever your trying to be. if you appear to be a "professional" based off your clothes/demeanor/looks.....then you are a actual professional. you gotta look your best too.

Schwarzeneggers rules for success sums up most of what i would say. Youtube it I found it motivational.

The most important thing he says is theres no substitute for "hard, hard work".

The other mega important thing he talks about is having a plan and following it. "You could have the best ship in the world but if the captain doesnt know where hes going youre just drifting at sea".

From my head

Never assume you cant make a difference in someones life with a kind act. A simple "how are you doing" or buying someone a meal or a drink, listening to someones problems might be all it takes to stop them from hurting themselves.
