If you're aware of a method to truly defeating any anxiety disorder let me hear it, I'm not talking about drugs or meditation (which is a strong placebo and doesn't work, all mind games) had a gf that I creampied everyday and that didn't work either, still had chit terrible anxiety. feels bad man

Try meditative thinking. I found myself feeling anxious in school the other day during the first day of class. Then I started examining the thoughts that were causing anxiety and where those thoughts began or rooted from and realized they had nothing to do with where I was or what was happening in that moment. After I realized that I relaxed and was able to spend the rest of class in the moment, and was suddenly a lot less stressed out

Any Amino Acid Complex that have both L-Glutamine and Taurine in it, the precursors to GABA
GABA is the stress relief chemical and most substances that activate GABA will release it in burst, are habit forming, and build tolerance. Taking glutamine and taurine in an amino complex form is the best way (i've tried so far) that isn't tolerant building, and is balance ensuing. You won't feel caked up on sedatives or euphoric, you'll feel like you never even had anxiety, or at least the anxiety that feels highly inhibiting or nerve responsive.

First of all, what do you have to be anxious about? Our ancestors dealt with feral wolves and saber toother tigers. Is someone going to talk to you and melt you? Anxiety is just your mind saying something is wrong, only there's no fire and your alarm won't shut off. If you want to fix this you have to put your body under a great deal of stress and train yourself to relax. Almost every part of our body can be influenced through sheer willpower. What you need to do is google Wim Hoff and do what he does. Breath holds and breath training. If you can't hold your breath for 4 minutes you don't have it down yet. Cold water exposure is also a must. Not a maybe, it's a must. Your muscles might be adapted to stress but your body is weak to stress. Hence your anxiety.

What are you having anxiety about? I use to have health anxiety where I thought I had an undiagnosed heart condition or something of the sort because I was having heart palpitations. Had many panic attacks because of it and eventually started leaning on drinking to ease it, which didn't go well. But in any case, eventually you just have to come to the conclusion that whatever it is that it giving you anxiety is not going to kill you and you have to slowly expose yourself to it and embrace the anxiety and panic to realize there is nothing to fear and that you can operate under those stressors. I haven't had a panic attack in a couple years now and rarely get health anxiety anymore, once in a blue moon I have the thoughts, but I know how to handle them now.
Edit: and L-Theanine helps, not sure if placebo but it works for me

Do u even know what placebo means u fkn dumb kunt?
Meditation and drugs are not placebo, they actually cause chemical reactions and hormonal changes that decrease anxiety.
If your dopamine receptors depend on porn, then nofap DOES because it resets them.

Meditation + phenibut + caffeine = godmode

What comes first? Anxious thoughts, or feeling physically anxious?
There is a theory that anxiety starts in the gut, not the brain.
http://abcnews.go.com/Health/anxiety...ry?id=20229136
So you might try prebiotics and probiotics.
And belly massage:

You could also try l-theanine or ashwaganda.

Wrong.
Even if you have a hereditary predisposition to anxiety, or you think you have a 'chemical imbalance,' you can still sever the negative feedback loop that causes it.
No one is anxious about a thing they've faced a million times through repeated exposure.
Phuck your excuses.

anxiety = isolation
so, any thought that could isolate you from normalcy of society is enough to isolate you
this is why big events - think ptsd sufferers who see chit in combat and then are expected to integrate back in society - are triggers for those with anxiety
some memories can be very powerful it takes a long time for the brain to recuperate
facing your fears and re-integrating into society is the only thing that works
anxiety is a warning signal you're about to be outcast from the group (society)

Neurobro dropping some bombs.
SSRI's are the first-line but tend to take 4-5 weeks to actually work. Benzo's are heavily prescribed and tend to work in momentary cases but can lead to huge dependency issues and the withdrawal is terrifying.
In almost any meta-analysis ever conducted; pharmacological therapy + CBT leads to the best long-term improvements. AKAfind a drug that works and go to talk therapy
If you're terrified of drugs, CBT alone usually works almost as well as drug therapy alone. But both are grand.

Also, perhaps you should actually research the placebo effect, instead of mindlessly shouting 'placebo, placebo' without having any knowledge of what it actually is.
'You are the placebo' by by Joe Dispenza is a good book to read.
