Why does no one ever talk about male mental health?

When was the last time you ever heard anyone in mainstream conversation talk about male mental health

Only 40% of all men with suicide ideation will receive any professional help
Suicide is the leading cause of death in men aged 15 - 34
Young males are 5x more likely to commit suicide than their female counter parts
76% of all suicides were men
White Males account for almost 80% of male suicides



Why the f*ck is everyone just ignoring it. Better march in DC for muh womanly rights and just ignore the fact that fathers, brothers, sons, husbands and boyfriends are dropping dead by their own hand at an alarming rate

Because the people responsible for driving men nuts are the one not toalking about it. They want men to be less manly. Back in the day it was the KGB's main goal, to remove the ruggedness of the American male was what they called it.

Motice how its only ever boys who have adhd or some behavior controling drugs. Its not that boy are just nuts, they are perfectly fine and the adults arund them, namely schools, are pushing this stuff on them.

now it becomes commonplace and its popular to be a vitcim. get the kid on these drugs at a eraly age and everytime he fails in life, he can blame the disorder. if he succeeds, is despite the disorder. Never have to takle responsibility for failure that way. this is the way these people think.

Same with autism or diagnosis of it. Hardly ever see a little girl with it. why is that? they arent immune to thsi stuff.

When i was a kid there maybe woud be 1 kid in the entire school system that had it and he was bad off in a wheel chair and such. If you were a regular kid with some learning issues, you didnt have a disorder, you were just stupid.

Things had a stigma attached to them back then. No way in hell your dad would be caught dead in a scooter or god forbid a cane. he would rather fall down and break his leg before having his kids see with walking with a cane. srs. If you saw a big fat lady, you pointed her out to all your brothers because it was so rare to see. You didnt make fun of them of course as that is rude but you knew damn sure you didnt want to end up like that and most people didnt naturally.

It's biology. Men throughout history have been the expendable sex and women the one needing protection/conservation. It directly ties into our reproduction and the fact that it only takes one man to impregnate thousands of women but one woman with thousands of men will still only be able to have offspring at a certain pace.

So we evolved to value the lives of women over men. This is seen today in society but is masked under the veil of 'equality' where women are constantly looking for escalation in social value. The sexes were never unequal. This is the ruse played by feminism that reaffirms the cosmic dance of our species over millions of years.

I'm pretty tired right now but that feels about right to me.

There was a big social campaign called "its ok to talk" recently if I'm right in thinking? To raise awareness on male mental health issues? I'm stating the obvious but I guess it's to do with the fact that it's seen as being more "acceptable" (for lack of a better word) for females to openly discuss their emotions/cry/vent etc. And men over the years have been taught by society to "man up" and deal with whatever they're feeling. I agree it's not fair, and its heard of way too often where a male falls victim to it and everyone is shocked cause he'd never expressed any form of battling whatsoever

I hope somebody who has studied mental health can jump in here and clarify this for me. I know that the rate spikes after retirement for men because they lose their purpose in life. But I'd have to Google it to get more detailed than that and I'm feeling lazy right now.

I read a thread about this here a while back and there a lot of good points made that showed that even when men actually took the courage to talk about their feelings they would still end up being ignored because even though women say that's what they want, it really isn't. Women want men to talk about their feelings so long as their feelings are about that woman. Anything else is just white noise to them. I wish I dig this thread up but it must've been a really long time ago since I just started miscing again after a long hiatus.

It's not even just a man problem. Regardless of gender, in general, people don't give a crap about mental health problems, nor do they understand it, unless they've experienced it. Sad but true.
