El Chapo vs Pablo Escobar (who was the bigger/more powerful?)

Biggest drug lord of today vs biggest drug lord of the 80s (arguably of all time).
Who made more money?
Who killed more people?
Who was more ruthless, and feared by his enemies?
Who built the most massive empire?
Who had the most power, political, economic or otherwise?
Who will be remembered as the GOAT drug lord?

lol wut. Escobar was a legit billionaire from the drug trade. He was probably 100 times larger than el chapo and had 1000 more influence. He changed an entire direction of a country.
I admit all my threads suck :(

Escobar was the man, had a continent under his thumb, not just a country.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Ismael "Mayo" Zambada is allegedly the one who actually calls the shots on the Sinaloa Cartel, but supposedly he prefers Chapo to attract all the heat since he doesn't care about mainstream recognition.

Escobar and it’s not even remotely close. The two shouldn’t be in the same sentence.
