nate diaz beat his ass the first fight, the second one nate said he was injured and still pressed him for 5 rounds.

floyd is the greatest boxer of this generation- conor CONNED fans to believe he has a 'punchers chance' to cash in on a huge payday fight that will see him go in, get beat, go to the bank and then retire. he'll be so rich him and his grandkids will never have to do anything ever again and a bunch of marks are helping him get there.

This is why the fight will never happen. Its outlived its' hype. When the fight was first announced, before the critical thinkers and boxing analysts got their hands and voices on it, the talk was a LOT more 50/50 which = a lot more buys. At this point, everyone is pretty much in agreement that floyd wins via decision. Which essentially is a win for conor because at the end of the day, he gets to stay he went however many rounds with widely agreed the #1 p4p boxer of the last 20 years. But now that everyone basically has agreed whats going to happen, i think the buys have suffered MASSIVELY over the last few months, and because of that the money is no longer there like it once was.

floyd is a scientist when it comes to boxing. once he figures out conors timing it's over. floyd would counter punch him and manipulate him to doing what he wants in that ring. , as stated above if it was mma , floyd wouldnt make it 24 seconds. but in boxing, floyd has lived his life in that ring and knows how to use that ring to his advantage to evade and pin someone in positions how he wants.

i think it's fairly obvious (to me at least) that it's dana whites plan to get floyd in a match with one of his favorite fighters to legitimize ufc as 'superior' to boxing, which he tried to do years ago when james tony fought hughes. now it started with ronda calling out floyd and when she fell off conor picked up the slack like it was his to begin with. if conor doesnt fight again, expect another fellow with the fans attention to jump in there to call out floyd. it'll keep happening until someone is in the ring with him

Floyd is a great boxer. Mcgregor is a great fighter.

Floyd is great at getting points to get the win. CM is a lot tougher and can bring a fight to FM. IDK if CM will go into the match like a typical boxer.

I imagine FM will be dancing around the ring a lot more than usual bc if CM gets close, he could take FM out.

Only a single conclusion comes to mind. He isn't training for an MMA match, and he doesn't have to expect any other type of strategies involving kicking or grappling, nor does he have to train in those areas either. So he can focus 100% on boxing. Not saying that'll give him the edge, just that if he's more focused and can dedicate himself to just one thing, then he stands a better chance of improving his skills in that area.

he's going to get paid MILLIONS of dollars to have an 'at least your tried' pat on the back from everyone , that no one will look down on, and he'll still remain looking strong promotional wise if he decides to fight in the ufc again.

make no mistake about it, if he does fight floyd he may never fight again because his pay check will be so fat , ufc's pay days will seem like peanuts in comparison
