I would be looking for a new job ASAP if I worked in that office. I'm all for a laid back environment where employees can have more freedom and fun on their own terms but this organized pep rally fluff can **** right off.

That is the elevate program which is for sophomores/juniors in college. It's like a 2 day leadership program and they get intern offers after it if they aren't sh*t.

You're right that it's wagecel - that is why everyone quits eventually. It's mostly for the experience.
