This. Women are turned off by IFBB pros, so people applied it to all "muscular men". In reality, I've never met a woman that didn't like muscle. Also, fat powerlifters make some equate fat with muscle.

It's also a female coping mechanism for average sloots who know they can't get said muscular guy. "Ew omg gross he's too muscular :random emoji:" = he's hot as fuk but I have absolutely no chance with him so I'll make it look like I don't want him.

Not many like obvious gymcel/roider bodies. They think excessive muscle is 'wierd' etc and looks cheesy and try hard

Obviously countless exceptions but generally speaking

nearly all avid gym goers have acknowledged the devil as their master and thus aren't the settling down type, everyone woman wants a potential long term mate and nobody wants to be "in love", and "other men" always remember your past. I'm not sure if this made sense or not.

It depends on the woman; I find muscular alpha guys really attractive but my work colleague says she finds even a small amount of muscle "disgusting" and only goes for scrawny nerdy types.

It's always the ones that have nothing going about themselves and are either average or below average.
Never once have I seen, even on social media, a 8+/10 say that they find muscle unattractive.

Its dependent upon the country and location you go to from my experience. In towns and cities there are a lot of feminine guys (US, UK, Western EU, Asia) and these guys have a market in the legions of ladies that prefer that emo/feminine look because muscle is looked down upon and the social circles women fly around in looks down on it too and a woman hates being cast out or ostracised.

You'll usually find girls into muscle from these areas who typically have daddy issues, want to be dominated, see other girls with muscled guys etc. A woman is subjected to her surroundings a lot and she lives off it. The Bradd Pitt body is an acceptable compromise too.
