He didn't dun goof. He just knows shes going to complain if he does anything slightly wrong, and that she will at least call his boss who will watch this tape, so he's watching what he does and says carefully.

It's a completely legal stop and shouldn't even be a big deal.

This ladys been in the news for refusing to pursue the death penalty. Shes trash. As far as the stop cops run tags all the time for no direct reason. I do think cops target blacks. Ive never been a cop so i dont know what shows in the computer when they run a tag. If the dude has a record they can pull him over 5 times a year for all i care, but i dont feel citizens with clean records shoukd be treated this way just for being black.

We can wait for a cop to confirm but yeah i thought this was routine chit srs. They catch some really bad dudes by doing this and getting lucky.

Florida LEO bruh checking in. You do NOT need a reason to run a tag in Florida. The legal guidelines were updated with a circuit court case reflecting that this year. You would think a state attorney would know that.

You don't run a complete records check when you run plates. You get basic car information, when the registration expires, if there is registration pending, and the registered owner (not how many times they've been pulled over/arrested, although you can look for that information separately if you want).

And if you run a plate and don't get a return, like in this situation, you still want to check it out regardless of who is driving. It could have no return for a variety of reasons and a law abiding citizen could have had their plates switched without them knowing or something like that. Seen it happen.

Yes. All the time. It's how you find stolen vehicles on the road, or people with warrants, or vehicles with warrants, or law abiding citizens that had their license plate stolen and switched. Extremely common. When I am working and driving around the city, I am running all the random plates I see because you never know what you will find. It's good proactive policing. If something comes up with no return, it's worth the 5 minutes it takes to pull them over and do a little investigation.

Technically she didn't complain about the stop, the dude just went in on overexplaining himself to cover his ass, normal reaction when someone is nervous is to try to explain your way out.

Where is she the state attorney of? As far as I know none of the states with a SA have a black woman as theirs.

I've been pulled over a few times in my day for absolutely no reason. Give them license ,registration, weapons carry permit, and I tell them my pistol is on safe in the glove box. They usually ask random questions and I simply respond with "May I ask what crime was committed?. They have no answer. This goes back and forth 2-3 times. They realize Im not playing their game and I bounce. Always love the "do you live in this neighborhood" or "what are you doing here?" Bish Im LIVING MY LIFE BOYO.

Have had police randomly appear and ask me random questions then leave. Shout out to the random people that saw the scary black guys wearing polo shirts and boat shoes.
I've also been choked by a cop once, but once he realized he goofed in front of 30 + people and cameras he calmed down. Then they sent the black cop over for damage control.

People 100% profile black people. You can argue well crime stats warrant it, but its just a fact. Its an unfortunate fact of life. This is why I harp on black folks to either 1 . Patrol your own communities with a private militia or 2. Become the cops in your area. I see no reason to complain and march to your perceived oppressor.Also understand some of these cops have been black. I think a specific type of person becomes a cop just how a certain person joins the infantry vs intelligence .

None of that is really relevant. If you're opposed to the death penalty, you're opposed to it. The calculus doesn't change based on who died or how unfortunate it was.

All I'm saying is calling someone "trash" just because their worldview doesn't align with yours seems a bit harsh.

Also, they're not "subjects." It's not a science experiment. They're defendants.

Can't say I am triggered. It is a feed back loop that unfortunately results in profiling and harsher sentencing.

If the black lobbiest groups would focus on better cases they could even get my support. Instead they burn down a city because Michael Brown got shot for being a piece of chit.

lol if you think the Ferguson riots were just about Michael Brown. His death was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Check out the DOJ report on policing in Ferguson if you want to see what I mean.

can confirm, we run tags all the time. Have license plate readers on our trunks to automatically scan and bring up any pertinent info (stolen/expired/suspended/etc.) right onto my laptop

I think the general idea is just racial biases and prejudices, and people's perceptions therein. If you're white and in a position of authority the thought is that you have bias in favor of white people and against black people. Same if you're black and in a position of authority.

Yeah you say that until something actually does happen and someone is shot. Then your response is going to be "Wait, we haven't seen the whole video"...And then when the video comes out showing how the cop likely fuked up, your new response is going to be "Wait guys, we don't have the whole story and we don't know what took place before the video started."

See what I mean? It's easy to say "nothing even happened", because yeah luckily nothing did. But if it had happened, like it has before, these types of stops can be scrutinized as things that should have never occurred in the first place. It's like people getting arrested for nothing and then charged with resisting arrest. Make legit stops or expect to be scrutinized by the people that pay your taxes. Don't forget you're a public servant and if your video/dashcam is available to the public, then not everyone is going to agree with your line of thinking

COPS run plates all the fkn time dude. Her plates came up with no information attached to it. No matter who is in the car: black, white, brown, yellow..... theyre getting pulled over and questioned.

I agree with you on alot of shyt, but is she just supposed to bow down to them? She can be elitist all she wants lol shes their bosses boss, see these country club ****s do it all the time. Also why would an attorney have illegal levels of tint? This dude came correct when he hit her with that title, thats why she smiled because her time was being wasted
