White privilege is having parents who are fluent in English, who understand American culture and who have American values.

Your parents can raise a relatively normal kid by passing down all those skills and knowledge.

You're not a foreign kid who feels like an alien in a new land. You don't have cultural barrier with both your parents and the society you grow up in.

This applies to both white and black people who have American parents.

Children of white immigrants have a similar, but smaller disadvantage. Europeans have languages and culture are more similar to English/American culture than other ethnicities.



If I grew up in Toronto/Vancouver/San Gabriel Valley/Silicon Valley where people like me are, I wouldn't be here as a FA on a saturday night on the misc.

I could still have been a dweeb but I would be the happy dweeb who is satisfied with himself and has other dweeb friends instead of the negative internet troll I am today.
