The next solar eclipse will be April 8, 2024. Where do you think you'll be in life?

Warning: Thought provoking thread

By the next solar eclipse, you'll think back to 7 years ago (yesterday) and reflect on where you were in life
Do you think you will have achieved all your goals?
Where do you think you'll watch the eclipse from? Your yacht? Your mansion? Your parent's basement?
Who do you think you'll be watching it with? A wife? Kids? Will you look back and laugh at the days you were on the misc thinking you'd never have a family?

I won't have any kids by then, maybe, maybe not, but I definitely won't be marriage. I'll be well established in my career, along with building passive income to live off of. Having been FA throughout my teens and 20s and I'll be banging sloots left and right. Top quality sloots, I'll have a ton of options. Seeing as you only live once and I have so much money, I'd be trying need things every other week, along with traveling to 10+ different countries with many, many more to go.

"So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. . . . Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place." -Tecumseh

Nowhere. I have built a time machine in the future and traveled back to 15 mins before the eclipse and murdered my unsuspecting self. You're safe now.

I don't have high hopes, honestly. And I'll be 35 that year, which is the age when I'm giving myself permission to off myself if the worst case scenario unfolds. I just have a really low tolerance for the chit the average person puts up with. Call me a pussy or say "That's life, son", IDGAF. I'm not going to spend my life wagecucking, especially when I don't have a family or a lot of friends to make it worth it. Do meaningless work from 8 to 6, come home to nothing, and too mentally and physically fatigued to do anything but eat fast food and rot, only to do the same thing the next day? Fuk that. And I've always had poverty resilience, even with certain "substances" so I'm not like the stereotypical Miscer who prides himself in working 12 hour days on 5 hours of sleep then running marathons and building a business in the remaining hours.

Meh. I'm still doing okay right now, but I can see the direction I'm heading. So I've got 7 years to figure out a career path that will not make me hate myself, or will have less hours, or a schedule like 12 hours 3 days a week with 4 days off or something like that. And I've got to build a social life from scratch and find some other people to live for. And I have to create a plan and hope that I execute it perfectly because I don't have a lot of time left to fuk up.
