What the hell happened to Iran and Afghanistan before and after 1979?

Aka the Revolution

They had much more freedom, similar to Western values. Had no idea they had technology, cars, etc. And Theyre women are beautiful as fuk too.

Some say the U.S. government was oil hungry and caused all of this, which I'm suspicious of propaganda

Iran had a democratically elected government which is believed to have been overthrown by the US. Afghanistan has been a war zone for some time now but in the early 80's the taliban came and took over an already weak decentralized goverment.

Operation Ajax. The CIA overthrew Iran's democratically elected government in 1953 because Iran's prime minister intended to nationalize the oil industry and free Iran from American/European imperalists. This has been US foreign policy in the Middle East 101. Overthrew any rulers who aren't American puppets and attempt to replace them with American puppets and in the process this had destabilized the region and led to terrorism. Of course terrorism benefits the US government because it gives the Americans an excuse to be in the region and continue to steal the resources of the area. US foreign policy is intended to encourage perpetual warfare. War=big money.

This is what the United States has done to the Middle East in the name of bringing about "democracy" and "freedom":

To further understand this dynamic you must understand why the parties who control things want war:

Iran arguably fits Dahl's theory of democracy today.

Their implementation is very poor at times, but so is America's.

Iran is actually far more civilized than other arab nations (even Saudi Arabia).

I've looked into this kind of subject quite a bit, and I'm not sure what to believe. I do know this, and that is that we are not told the whole story. Consistent with history, just follow the money. It doesn't mean there isn't a noble cause or that it was evil, but you can bet you finances have so much to do with it.

I was lead to believe that the only reason Iran and places that were more 'western' functioning was because the west established some form of influence in those countries, and the minute we left was the minute Pisslamists reverted them back into the disasters you see today.

The real redpill is what Iran and Afghanistan were like before Islam even set foot in the country begin with.

^^^always crazy to see those photos. Like Libya looks like fuking Miami and Yemen looks dope... regression of peace
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

in Irans case there was a revolution and the Ayatollah gained political power (religion of peace).

Same thing is coming to Turkey (srs).

Iraq - the west destroyed it.
Libya - the West destroyed it.
Syria - Arab spring/revolution/civil war.
