The Glory Hole Effect: Can you really tell? (srs) (no homo)

If you couldn't see who was giving you that dome, that neck, that head, that knowledge, would you be able to tell if it was man or sloot? If so, how?

I've always felt glory holes were a turn off because of the very reason that I can't know for certain if it's a sloot on the other side. There are also porns floating around where they switch out sloot with ******* to see if the actor notices, but of course in porn they never act like they do.
