Only one I've watched (besides dbz) is Naruto. Naruto Shippudden is good, the original was good but more for children in my opinion. Would recommend skipping fillers.

I understand that its like 300 episodes or so.
Should i start from the beginning or skip some episodes?

I like dark movies with some humor like pulp fiction, django Unchained, No country for old men etc..

Yu Yu Hakusho for an old school classic. I’m right now watching that and it’s amazing.
My hero academia for a new school one

Also no English dubs because they are corny. Except narutos and dbz’s English dub. You will appreciate the Japanese dub better and reading subtitles will become second nature to you.

Dragon ball, attack on Titan, Hero academia, death note, and naruto are a good start. They are easy to get into for beginners and have that emotional aspect that’s captured so well in anime

You can always watch Kai, which is a shortened version of DBZ. Remastered in HD, most fillers gone, pacing is faster, dialogue redone with more emotion and less cheese, soundtrack redone (depending if you watch the Yamamoto score or the Kikuchi).
