DoD investigating if two Navy SEALs strangled Green Beret to death

Article speculates Green Beret may have
uncovered some illegal activity and was consequently executed. Seems more conjecture than anything...

Hopefully no repost

I bet they did it. The Green Beret must've said he didn't like their new book

In all seriousness, I wonder what could’ve provoked the attack. These were SEAL
team 6 guys. Doubt they’d kill someone over a pissing contest, particularly another spec ops guy.

Aren't SEALs known for doing large quantities of drugs? I read that steroid usage is really common in the spec ops community
Idk, maybe it had to do with getting caught doing illegal activity at the wrong place and time

I used to do IT for the SEALs on the east coast and I talked to a team 4 guy who literally did the substances he was combatting on his off time with hot hookers while in Brazil.

Fukkin lold and mired so hard.

edit: As far as bicycles.. lmao, most navy guys are - much less SEALs. Yes, they use. Back when I did I talked to an SO1 about it.

But I highly doubt this was about that. Everyone knows bikes are rode - no one gives af

These dudes are the alpha males of the alpha males, whose careers and lives are based on performance in combat. Do you think they're not riding a bike 24/7? Not to mention, they're doing high profile drug raids pretty consistently. Have to figure they take an O here and there.

based on the fact that riding the bike 24/7 would provide them with minimal combat benefits and maximum liabilities I seriously doubt many of them are. If I had to guess most of these guys would not put their career in jeopardy

Agreed. Little to no chance they’d intentionally kill another service member over something like finding drugs or anything illicit. These communities I imagine have all kinds of dark secrets between them.

Yeah, I guess increased endurance, stronger muscles, and high test wouldn't bode well in a combat situation, would it? I work with these kinds of guys a lot. There are a lot of them who are on the Tour de France.

this is pretty interesting.

I am not making any claims, as I am obviously ignorant.

But every circle has it's secrets. This chit is much more common on the streets of Detroit but no one bats an eye or speculates because it is normal. The media coverage is a powerful tool.

all softies ride bikes bro, best place to get spare tires in the sandy regionsAlso they are lance Armstrong styled due to several days no sleep, 80-200lb rucks, endurance, stamina etc....not all riders are Phil Heath, strong unawares in ITT of what bike riding is intended for outside of lifting culture.

civilians taking guesses at this chit is funny. Guy suffocated a few days after an intel laptop was left in the jungle....

We may never know what it's over. Sometimes these elite military units have to do some shady crap. It's nessasary for our safety but those who don't understand will raise a stink about it. So it's kept quiet.

When it comes to survival, it's not who's right, it's who's left. These guys go over there, do stuff they probably don't want to have to do that they will have to live with the rest of their lives, and ultimately they did it to keep us all safe, but those people they protected would call them monsters if they knew half of it. They are told these things are wrong, and that they were wrong, or evil. Fuk that, no wonder these guys are killing themselves in high numbers. War is hell. All your morals go out the window when you are in combat. I don't think anyone should say anything about what one of our guys did, unless they have been through it. When you are under fire, you will do things you don't think you would ever do but then will have to live with it after. It's not fun. Maybe our vets would be in better shape if we all said "I don't care what you did, you did it for us" and if you can't handle the truth of what it is just stay in your cushy little sheltered world and not try to find out.

lol, does anyone making this type of claim actually know or have any interaction with the SF community?

I feel like no and you are all just saying some chit you made up.

Doing "IT" really does not count.

I don't really care to, I'm saying that I heardfirst hand accountsfrom them doing bikes and other illegal substances.

That's the only claim I'm making, but yes, I have actual interactions with them which you said no one making claims did. That's the only point I'm making here.

I agree that I should know. I do work with them and have some personal relationships with them as well. Like, I literally would know this.

So when I say "you making this chit up", that should have some value.

You forgot the most important part. More money and better equipment. But other than that, you got it.

Yea except a much more grueling selection process and many more capabilities but other than that from what I've seen I'd agree lol
