I guess Hollywood's completely run out of new ideas and is just remaking films with female casts now. I don't see anything wrong with having a heist movie with an all female cast but if it's just a remake of an existing franchise then it's just plain laziness on the part of studio's.

I hope Rihanna has had a lot of acting lessons between this and Valerian because she was truly awful in that.

We've had blockbusters with strong female leads for decades. Anyone remember that obscure indie flick "Alien"?

I have no idea why Hollywood thinks they need to remake existing movies with an all female cast to make a statement. The audience will accept female leads if you give us a good, original story.
