Peacening invited me over to visit him last Saturday. I got a 12 pack of cold beers, a pepperoni pizza, and a bag of chips. Had to leave 7 slices of the pizza, 11 beers, and 688 potato chips in the car because they wouldn't fit in the apartment.

Me and the Gf pay $1200 for an 800sft 1 bed apartment. Nice place, pool, gym, 2 garage spots... with all utilities and cable usually around ~1400 and that feels steep.

Where do people with lower paying jobs that don't secretly live off of a trust fund live in place like San Francisco? I'm talking about a cook, construction worker, city worker, etc., people that you need for a functioning city.

I live in Orange County and I finally traveled to SF for the first time to visit a couple friends there (like a 1 hour flight) and it's like a completely different culture from where I live, and not in a good way. It's an overpriced cesspool. It's just filled with a bunch of weirdos and druggies walking around.

One of my friends only lives there because he works for a tech company in SF of course, but he's paying like 2k for a small fuking apartment it's ridiculous. I would absolutely hate living there
