yes obviously, its made our society more selfish, more superficial, and less caring. people are willing to turn a blind eye on how their actions affect society as a whole as long as they benefit

In the 90's all we had was AIM. We all spent times riding our bikes around the neighborhood, playing basketball at the park, baseball, etc. Now all the kids are glued to their iPhones.

Nah.. Birth control has

I dont think social issues are powerful enough to COMPLETELY change behavior. Influence it, yes, but isnt a pretty common axiom "if he told you to jump off of a bridge would you do it too"? Signaling being enough of an individual to make individual decisions.

It definitely goes deeper than that - regarding how it influences, but i just dont see it being as powerful as no repercussions from sex.

This, imo, might be the left's general disdain for responsibility...srs

Ehh, I dunno. I think the sexual revolution was far less significant than claimed. Consider first that being single past 18 years old is an incredibly recent invention. Men have always been able to have sex with no repercussions, and married women could for the most part if the Chads are at least similar in skin color to her husband. Plus people have been pulling out for thousands of years. So people have always been promiscuous, they just didn't talk about it openly. Then consider that the AIDS scare and other STDs pretty well nipped free love in the bud as soon as it came along. Only one generation got to participate, and they aren't generally the ones credited with ruining society. So people pretty much behave the same now as they always have, but with less need to conceal it. I can't see how that's harming anything.

The misc is social media, bunch of degenerates saying and posting whatever they can to get reps. People act like social media is new... it's been around since the days of myspace. The people who say it's bad is losers who don't even say hello to people in real life and have no friends on social media as well. Humans have huge ego's they always want to blame others for there own misfortune, every loser on the misc walks with head down and does not even attempt to make friends.

Easy to blame social media for your own failure makes you feel better.

Wow, strong twist...hahahaha

People on social media are attention whores...they crave for likes on fb, twitter and IG. Strong losers....

They feel like they need to show what they have to the world in order to be accepted and known. They need others to evaluate them, constantly compliment them simply because they aren't confident themselves enough to face the real world. When they don't get complimented on fb, they get sad. LOL. They always crave for attention. They want to be famous. They are hungry for 'LIKES' JUST LOL.

They update their social media regularly so people won't forget about them....LMAO
RAT RACE OF PEACE.

You guys are the real slaves of the technology...

A real and strong person is confident whether they don't get attention or not...

Every post on the misc is for attention that is how human's are. You think my post or your post is for nothing? No we post to get attention and reaction from others to agree or disagree. Nobody post on the misc for nothing. It's the same thing as instagram, threads showing hot women the thread maker wants rep and attention.

Make threads like this OP wants others to validate him acknowledge and stand with him, rep him. Look at threads when someone says negged. Poster gets angry rants, and rages " WHY HE NO LIKE ME I"M RIGHT HE WRONG" it's all the same, except on social media people want to hate and get mad say it's ruining life, cause they not getting paid to show there ass. Girls making thousands of dollars while you slave away 8-5 making minimum wage, getting angry seeing the male model and wealthy on instagram living a good life makes you mad. Makes you want to blame social media for failure.

Social media is the greatest tool invented everyone mad is not even using it properly and is not making money for sure... and the worst case, they can't even use it to make friends. They use it to fap, and be jelly of cars and jewelry. Instead of using it to make friends and be inspired.

Everyone wants attention. Everyone wants to be heard, wants to have meaning and purpose. If you want to experience true isolation and disconnect from social media and connections go see how they live in north korea. So isolated and deluded that they believe there own leader is a God!
I just want to share the knowledge I have obtained throughout my life and hopefully change someone's life.

It's not. Just stop already with the thought the FORUM = FB, IG and twitter.

They are completely different. Forum is a place for discussion of anything under the sun whereas ********, IG and Twitter are exclusive for personal glory and fame...

Nobody cares if they make a lot of money. Nobody gives a fuk really because we all have our own lives to live with and to worry about...I could careless if they make money, heck I also earn money but the idea they implement to others to act or behave in a certain way is what ruins everybody...everybody now, thinks they are somebody because they have these accounts...They feel like they are celebrity now and that people should look up to them now...That's just pathetic.

BRB posting silly selfie and a ton of stupid sh it...
BRB I am eating at MCDONALDS, so I gotta grab a quick selfie
BRB I'm on top of the mountain, gotta grab a quick selfie...
brb My friends are posting a lot of pics so I have to post pics as well...(RAT RACE)

You're just using the public figures to cover up the majority of people who use social media in inappropriate way...

If you want to make friends, MAKE FRIENDS IN REAL LIFE FOR FUK SAKE>....JEEZ!

YEs, it's a great tool but if you're going to use it act and behave a certain way, then you're ruining it already...did you see the old woman on IG before..It was posted in the misc a week ago I think...and this female maybe around, maybe late 40's or early 50's acting sloot on IG which is so damn IMMATURE...

Also, Nobody in their right mind use social media just to feel jealous all the time...are you fukking insane?
