Putting Your Kids on Phsyciatric Meds is Child Abuse

Generation Medication checking in

If you have problems and your brain is still developing then you need to learn natural coping skills to deal with your issues and not temporarily fix them with meds because they will stop working and then the problem will become worse

I laugh at all these idiots putting their children on ********. Are you aware that ******** is speed? You're pretty much putting your child on light meth. Its a ****ing joke.

We're in an epidemic and I'm not even going to get all scientific because I'm expecting a lot of people to disagree with me.

Yes there can be special circumstances just like everything else. Its not all black and white there is some grey area. But when you mess with a developing brain you're playing with fire and its more than likely going to get worse if you're medding up a 13 year old before their frontal lobe is even developed. Its like poisening a plant imo. Like watering a plant with used motor oil.

All of you that put your children on meds are sick in the head. Its legit child abuse and its happening everywhere. I'm absolutely disgusted with this country.

I have a nephew who is so ADHD that he will hurt himself if he is not medicated.

3Y/MDFACS checking in and I am inclined to agree with you most of the time, but not always.

He's not my child.

And believe it or not, the only people I know who use medication as a first resort are lazy, rich white people who would rather go on another vacation to Hawaii than deal with Timmy's chit.

For black people, that is a last resort, as there is still a huge stigma.

Not his mother, so not privy to all details, but I have seen him have a full blown melt down and start slamming himself into walls until he gets bruises.

I suspect there's another issue but I'm not around him enough to say clearly--that's what he was diagnosed with and he medication does seem to be helping him.
