Whats up with never ending students?
I notice a lot of people these days are in school forever collecting multiple degrees. Seems like they are subconsciously stalling from entering the workforce. Oftentimes when they do, they aren't making better money than if they didn't have two masters in social work, etc. Have personally seen several people like this.

Yeah I know what you mean. Lots of people just love the school lifestyle and keep coming back for all sorts of masters and switching majors to prolong their time.
May also have to do with not being able to land jobs after school.

because continual education enhances your overall income.
many people do a major/minor or dual major for multiple reasons, especially in very competitive six figure fields where companies look at what exactly your background offers. someone who has a business and psychology or philosophy degrees will 9 times out of 10 get the position over someone who has just a business degree when both apply for the same job. dual majors also show that you have a multitude of skillsets that can enhance the company's overhead/profit in some way, maybe your dual training makes you a much more efficient problem solver and out-of-the-box thinker (which is why people who have a secondary philosophy degree can be so desirable), or you're better at managing people (the psychology degree might show employers you understand how the human psyche works, so you're more likely to be a better manager).
there's also a lot of positions that require continual education to be competitive, like fitness trainers, doctors, and teachers. my mom is a teacher and in her 60s and she still takes college courses so that she can move over what teachers call a "column" to increase their overall pay and retirement benefits.
then there are the people who just like going to school. honestly, if you have a comfortable enough life where that is an option, i don't see why you shouldn't do it. learning everything you can about anything you can is always personally/spiritually fulfilling.
