I think in the recent years I kind of developed an attitude to be a nice guy. But sometimes I feel like this attitude is soaking the energy of my body and my soul.
It's time to go back but how do you know who you were before? I think I just stay comfortable.

Everything I post is trash.

Kind gesture is a purpose driven action
Nice gesture is a fear (of rejection, perception, aggression..etc) driven action

Yes, you should be genuinely pleasant at all times unless the person gives you reason otherwise.
