When I was seven I ate one-half of a leg's worth of unraveled tights while sitting in a children's church service. Bored, I pulled at snagged thread, and instantly there was a small hole. It was mesmerizing, and I kept pulling. Before I knew it I had one bare leg and a giant pile of string in my lap.

Eying my handiwork that was a pile of string, I realized trouble was imminent, and that I needed to hide it. Having nowhere else to hide it, I swallowed it like a ginormous strand of spaghetti. It felt strange, and it took a while, but I was successful. Unfortunately my mom noticed the bare leg, and I still got in trouble.

The string was forgotten until a day or two later when I went to the bathroom. At first I was confounded by the turd that dangled from bowl to butt hole and beyond, but it didn't take long to figure out what was going on. Hand over hand, I used wads of toilet paper to dislodge the string until the dingleberry and I were no longer connected. It was awkward, painful, and sadly not the end of my making really bad life choices; however, I never, ever ate tights again.
