What are "social skills"?

I can out converse just about anyone on this planet. I'd like to know what bad "social skills" are because I always see this meme plastered everywhere. People always say "oh yeah you should work on your social skills" to other people on here. As if somehow their personalities are defective and they are unable to discuss topics, and that's why they aren't good with women. I find that a bit ridiculous. In fact, a lot of people with supposedly "bad" social skills are just ugly and people act bored and uninterested around them because they do not find those people attractive. I've also noticed a lot of classically attractive people behave extremely erratically and do and say awful things and are given a free pass. Do they have "good social skills?"

What about this kunt? Does she have "good social skills"?

A lot of people will reference "game" and say you have to have "game." However, I can show you tons of examples of "game" that is pretty pathetic and unsophisticated which sloots still responded positively to when the guy was attractive to them so I think that's pretty much a load of horsechit. I think "social skills" is pretty much a euphemism for being attractive, barring extreme cases of autism where some dude can't pick up on social cues or is literally too shy to talk.

Can you *******s show me an example of someone with "good" social skills? Also, show me someone with "good social skills" who isn't considered hot.

Also a lot of "social skills" seems to be feigning happiness and enthusiasm in everything. The people best at this are seasoned narcissists and psychopaths who are extremely good at manipulating others. It reminds me of the faux enthusiasm you see in media people during interviews. Are these examples of "good social skills" or is this just being an emotionally manipulative, fake twat?

That video is a perfect example of the media chit I was talking about. That fake, rehearsed style of communication. Neither of these people give a chit about what they are talking about at all. It's disgusting.

If you really wanna encompass it all = life vs. Death

Anything that has to do with violence/ death = generally bad
Anything conducive to life = generally good

And the entire penchant that its all built upon is: belief in self

One thing that is underestimated. Humans have mirror neurons. This helps with empathy and allows us to believe we know how others think and feel = "social".

As such, people generally react based off of the way you feel/ present to them

In other words, if you feel like chit. Youre gonna make others feel like chit

People with bad social skills fall under two category: 1) all you ask are questions and have no thought of your own 2) you are a narcissist who loves to talk about yourself, generally doesn't listen to others, and (the worst) cut people off mid-sentence to hear yourself talk even more.

People with good social skills listen. They stay with the topic at hand. Can carry on a banter no matter what the topic of conversation is. Tends to be smart, witty, and articulate with their words.

This might be the truth...but then having "good social skills" for people who don't have communication issues pretty much amounts to being a "happy" person. But it's a huge catch 22 because a lot of things which lead to happiness, such as a fulfilling relationship, require you to have "good social skills".

i don't have good social skills, but i do ok, maybe because i try to be genuine, and this attracts similar people

in my opinion people are visual and i agree looks/bodylanguage/eyecontact are more important than what you say,

also no one remembers wtf you say just how you make them feel

pretty accurate. I noticed when I'm feeling well people like to talk to me even when I'm not saying anything and when I'm going through one of my depressive phases, people avoid me like the plague. It is what it is.

Confidence comes from success though. So it is really all a giant catch 22. It amounts to being born in a happy family, being attractive, and perpetuating that happiness. Basically it means have nothing bad ever happen to you. Fukking lol.

where your comfortable enough socially to allow a flow-state like conversation, not having to anxious or curious about what your saying - rather enjoying what your conversing about.

If you speak to a stranger and they walk away from the conversation without thinking you are likely to run over a bunch of people in a van/shoot up a school then you have social skills.

This is not the case with miscers

What do you do if you are very different from other people? Most people don't know anything about the things I like to talk about. Also, there is not much to be happy about. If you really look at the world and the nature of life carefully, you must concede that it is pretty empty and pointless. Most happiness is fleeting. We are happy sometimes when we achieve our goals or experience pleasure. But it's usually sparse patches of happiness amidst a long, painful story of suffering. Even for Chad...

I have tried cold conversing with strangers on the train and stuff. I can do it, but it is so fake. They realize it is fake too. It is basically signaling to them that you are bored as chit and want to talk. And if you do this with a younger woman, she almost always interprets it as a sexual pass. Social skills are bullchit. It's a way for the rest of the world to continue their "just world" narrative and pretend like all of human interactions aren't completely determined by mutual benefits and incurred costs in the confrontation. When a girl talks to a guy, and she finds him unattractive, he is essentially a threat to her from her POV, and unless he demonstrates being useful to her in some way, she would try to exit the conversation. It only makes sense. Why waste energy on someone? That's how life works. People just use each other. "Social skills" = be useful to people aka attractive or exceptional at something.

Little things only get you so far though bro. I have grown tired of the little things. And I do listen, and 99% of people talk about the most retarded chit. It's like they aren't even really talking. They are just going through the motions.

I really can though. I am confident in my conversation skills. I have had women seem surprised when I tell them I've never had a serious gf (this is before they find out the rest about me, and with most women it's always a "not in my backyard" kind of thing..."you'll find the right girl, just not me!"). I have always been praised for my conversation skills by people I talk to...and yet, I have also been told I have poor social skills...sometimes by the same people. It just seems remarkable to me. I'd simply like an example of what social skills actually are, so I can try to work out a definition. My suspicion is they are all full of chit. It seems to me to be a vague umbrella term synonymous with being attractive or useful. Also, you haven't really given me any kind of definition. You just came in here and insulted me again, like you always do. Good for you, buddy.

Anyway, whether you think my conversation skills are up to par or not, I really do not care, and that isn't the issue. The issue is to define "social skills" or give enough examples of "good social skills" and "bad social skills" so that I may distinguish them from "usefulness and attractiveness to people."
