The APBT is the current fad dog just like the Rottweiler and Doberman used to be. Insecure guys who feel the need to have a “tough” dog are usually the kind that make poor owners and poor breeders leading to a degradation of the breed.

Ironically all of these breeds rank very high as family pets.

The APBT is also still widely used for dog fighting which does take place in poorer neighborhoods and rich alike. Most pit bulls are bandogs and rarely a real APBT

The Cane Corso is starting to become the new fad dog. Used to be a rare breed and now I see ****ty ones on Craigslist.

Last I checked I think 46% of all dogs in the US were "Pits". A few different breads, and mixed breeds are lumped into the Pit bull category because most people don't know the difference.
Exactly, it’s really a shame. I love the APBT. Getting a new puppy this year.
