Nah you can see from the start it's stalking him, that's not protective behavior, that's predatorial behavior, dude did a lot of bad things, he's lucky the lion decided the risk wasn't worth the reward (prolly because it's inexperimented)

I would do what that guy did.

You never turn your back on a predator like that.

If it senses weakness then it is on, but it would easily kill you unless you were armed.

Either way if is stalking you then you have to be ready to throw down with it.

in matter of seconds that thing will lunge at you and sink its jaws in you you might get like 2-3 hits with a rock which wont do much

It would murder a German Shepherd in around a minute or two, a pitbull would put up a fight but it would eventually rip the pitbull to pieces with its claws alone. A cougars teeth would puncture a pitbulls skull.



My neighbor had a crazy housecat and my father tried to pick it up one day and it ripped his jeans leg open and ripped his leg open in around 10 seconds... blood everywhere, and that was a house cat.... albeit a big mean one.

my aunt lives in Texas and works with a zoo. She has a giant property and will often help take care of animals. I was lucky enough that I got to pet and touch baby tigers. I noticed that just running triggers something inside of them and they'll chase anything. When they were on my aunts property she had this giant pig. Well anyways these fkers legit chase anything that moved except this pig. If they tried to approach the pig he'd just get all pissed off and charge em. They would get all shook and not know what to do. Confronting some animals makes them hesitant. Doesn't work with everything though, you can and should confront a black bear but if its a grizzly don't even think about it. I've seen videos of moose charging dudes and the only reason the guy survived was because he charged back. Takes balls of steel but I guess thats what it takes to survive these types of encounters
