Matches have pretty much died

When I first signed up to CMB, I was getting matches daily for ~ a week, now they're very rare even though I'm active.
When I first signed up to Bumble, I was getting a ton of matches within the first day, now they're already very rare.

So what is it:
a. I've exhausted my dating pool or the active users.
b. Their algorithms have pushed me back down the queue (initial engagement).
c. I've gotten worse looking with the same pics.

You need to boost on tinder and bumble; I can assure you that you'll never lack matches if you do that. Not sure about CMB.

Try deleting your account and recreating it after an hour or so. Dating apps tend to put non paying members at the bottom of the queue overtime.

Bumble idk but it's very possible that girl you liked never even saw your profile unless you pay to superlike. Plus bumble definitely holds back profiles and matches. If you pay for the upgraded version it will show you the girls that already swiped right on you.

They want you to pay for the plus service or whatever it's called. They know the dopamine rush is important to a lot of people and they'll pay money to stay on top of the stack.

It's b 100%. Happened when I was using Tinder, got like 100+ matches in a week then it slowly started dying down so I took a break and came back few months later with the same pics and everything to barely get any matches (like 0-2 a day). I think it's their way of having you pay for the premium account garbage so they get you hooked when you first get it as to motivate you to actually pay for it. There is 0 explanation for the other two options as there is no way to exhaust all options when living in a big city with tons of new accounts being created every day and to suddenly stop getting matches when using the same pics also makes no sense at all.

The feminist movement has created more lesbians. Many Beta males are not needed now that women have their financial independence and the dildo industry has improved their product to perform better than the average penis. A whole new world out there.

This also doesn't work as Tinder for example is linked to your ******** and phone number so you'd need to get a new phone number to make a new account lol

Yeah but if you use the same phone number it will not give you a complete fresh start. I've done the same but it already put me at the bottom of the stack. If you could constantly reset your profile with the same phone number and get a fresh start it would completely defeat the purpose of even having any premium accounts and boosts. I even looked it up and to create a completely new profie you'd have to delete it, reinstall the app and make a new account with either a new ******** account or a new phone number.

Let's just say that pretty much the only success I've ever had with women is via online dating. That said, I now realize I haven't necessarily exposed myself to the right activities. Most of my activities have been either sports with men, or bar/pub related.

There are pros and cons to both. I need to get more active via real life activities though. I'm look at co-ed soccer leagues and other sports.

I'm in the same boat, after about a month on this tinder account. Matches have fallen off dramatically to 1 every few days maybe, for the record I've boosted twice and got maybe 5 matches total. Chit was a waste of time and money. The first week I matched with hot bishes regularly so I assume it's just due to falling way down the stack but who knows. I think I'm gonna change strats and try tinder plus/gold for the 5 superlikes/day next time I make an account. My bumble fares slightly better but not much.

Got back on OkCupid after like 2 years off and ho lee chit lard ho! Full of dangerhairs, troggs, and whales. abe simpson.gif

The only women I've met in clubs and bars have been straight up sloots (atleast 99% of them). All the best chicks I've met have been from work, school or friends. As for online dating people like to chit on it nowadays but they don't realize that it's so common where almost everybody you meet IRL used tinder/bumble, etc. at one point or another so the people you meet through activities are the same people you meet online anyway.

OP I am having the same issues on CMB and Hinge. I've only received 2 likes on CMB this entire week. Hinge seems to be full of picky guys too. I've only matched with 2 guys on it. 1 Guy lives 60+ miles away and doesn't have any hobbies. I asked him what are his hobbies and he said "Hanging out with friends," doesn't drink, doesn't like hiking, 2 word answers, just a waste of time. The other guy is a loner that goes to work and eats, nothing else. The guys that are interesting doesn't match with me, super frustrating. Plus on hinge you only get 10 likes per day, unless you pay for unlimited likes, fcuk that!
I think we are at the bottom of the pile or our pictures suck? I can't explain it. The plus to Hinge is adding political views which could hurt me in a way, but I do like on the conservative guys profiles and nothing.

I'm pretty sure I'm not bottom of the pile, but maybe I'm just delusional. I find it difficult to self-rate myself though.
- If I rate myself via the quality of women I've dated, it's 7/8 - but that sample size is small.
- If I rate myself viaongoinginterest and options with decent looking women, it's lower - ~6/7, unless I'm bad a picking up signals, I get IOI's occasionally.
- If I rate myself via the typical quality of women I match online, it's probably 6/7.
- If I rate myself via commentary from strangers, people I meet etc it's probably ~7 (various independent people have described me as 'good looking').

So I say 7 as an approximation. I'm aware alltrapbrah and some others have argued this is dissonance and I necessarily must be lower than that.
