Anyone remember the miscer Fang2? He's a fuking fraud.
I browsed through his insta and just lol





let's assume he can actually bench 4 plates, but why are the safeties so high up? even with a massive powerlifting arch, he won't even come close to touching his chest. it's even too high for a pin press.



then he has a pic of his squat set up with 5 plates on



again safeties are too high up. maybe 5 in ROM? just lol

then he has all these chitty and random pics saying "new gym" or "2nd gym session"

he has a 4 plate bench and a 5 plate squat yet he has zero videos of them. the only videos are of him and cankles leg pressing with a 3in ROM. also no physique pics or any pics of himself, just chitty pics of his groce looking food or random pics

I was supposed to make this thread a few months ago when he was still active but never got around to it.

If he reads this and is up for it, I'm willing to wager a ban bet if proves his lifts are legit


Also how'd he get so many reps when he's never made a good post?

Fang2 used to be a moderator if I'm not mistaken.

The safeties don't necessarily mean he's frauding. He could have a really big belly or a really big arch.

Also, people who travel for work go to different gyms all the time.

You have no proof of frauding.

I just think the word fraud is a bit much based on pictures alone.

But yeah, if he's posting up pictures of weights, it's not unreasonable at all to ask for proof that he can lift them.

I only vaguely remember fang as a poster so idk if he lifts or not, but lack of video of lifting doesn't necessarily mean anything.

I would never put a vid of me on here since I don't want to be detectived. I have a wife and family so there are just some things I choose to draw a line around. If people don't believe my numbers I can live with that, my only impressive lift is 4 plates on bench which isn't even that much.

Like I said idk the guy, but food for thought about why no vids.

I totally agree with this. I probably should be more careful about what I give away, too. There are a few here who've seen my face and even one guy I absolutely know on here. I don't know if he knows I'm here but he'd know in a heartbeat if he saw my avi. There are probably legit serial killers on here.

I agree with you. But that wasn’t from misc. He posted stuff on his IG that he had in his dig, and follows other miscers. Why take it to IG, post a bunch of pics with very impressive amount of plates, then no video?

With squats you can even get a proper video with no face showing. It’s just an odd combination of things going on that don’t match up. If you value privacy that much, you don’t link your IG.

I just looked and it is strange.

The only video he posts is leg press videos where only one foot is filmed and the range of motion appears to be EXTREMELY short.

.....and if you DID link your IG but still wanted to remain anonymous, you wouldn't show your face on your IG since you knew you had shared it on misc.

Don't know the guy, so I'm not going to go too far down the rabbit hole trying to defend him. Just saying no face doesn't immediately mean fraud. I had one guy on here say I'm frauding about being married because I wouldn't put up a pic of my wife. Lol ok man, think what you want.
