Olympia Predictions
Men's open we know Phil Heath will probably take his 8th title. Big ramy would have to come in shredded to the bone to have a chance. He has moved up from something like 8th in 2013 to 2nd by 2017 but size alone will not beat phil heath.
1. Phil Heath
2. Big Ramy
3. William Bonac
4. Roelly Winklaar
5. Nathan De Asha
I think age is catching up with Dexter and we will see him to continually drop in placings until he hangs it up so i have him in 6th.
Classic Physique is what I am really waiting for. Feeling confident bumstead will take 1st this year. Actually suprised he didnt last year as he seems to embody the classic physique shape. With his arms and back looking significantly better he has got it. Arash Rahbar looking juicy and improved from last year so I think top 3 are pretty set in stone. With all the new guys this year the line up is stacked. Big fan of Vissers physique. Literally perfect in my mind but its going to take a couple years for him to be a top 3 threat.
1. Chris Bumstead
2. Breon Ansley
3. Arash Rahbar
4. George Petersen
5. David Hoffman / Regan Grimes (Might be a little enthusiastic on this one)
6. David Hoffman / Regan Grimes
7. Wesley Vissers
8. Steve Laureus (Would place him higher but his conditioning has been a joke this year and don't think he will pull it together for the O
Mens Physique I don't follow but I am sure that **** Buendia will win it obviously. I think Ryan Terry will place high but not sure about what the other competition looks like.
Mens 212. Flex Lewis will take yet another title and then is going to hang it up. Hadi Choopan was his only real competition and he wasn't allowed this year due to issues with a visa?
1. Flex Lewis
2. Ahmad Ashkanani
3. Derek Lunsford
4. Jose Raymond (cant believe im going to say this but he needs to tone down the vascularity)
5. David Henry
1. Phil Heath
2. Big Ramy
3. William Bonac
4. Roelly Winklaar
5. Nathan De Asha

^^ no, Phil actually looks amazing and has God tier genetics, save the distention in 2014 and 2017 which were slight shaky wins, all his other wins were really solid.
1. Phil
2 and up, can't tell because it will be based on whoever comes in shredded. Dex will have a solid placing I think.
Classic:
1. Regan/Breon
3. Bumstead
4. Idk, maybe Hoffman
Physique: same top two as last year, I'm not sure who will win but it will probably be Buendia again.

I’m just curious why Buendia doesn’t move to classic BB, when his shoulders are 12’ wide and he doesn’t even look remotely like he should be competing in physique anymore.

The only argument you can make is posing which is something he surely has worked on since his win in NY

edit: I believe since they upped the weight limit by 5 lb Grimes and Arnold would be right about the same weight at ~235

Big Ramy is weighing 310 1 day before which is disappointing because he will drop at most 10 pounds of water. last year he was in the mid 290's so we can expect to see a bigger Big Ramy which is ludicrous because his conditioning has never been where it needs to be. Needed to come in a little smaller and better conditioned. So he secured himself the 2nd place again with no chance of 1st.

My predictions
Physique:
1st Buendia.
2nd Ferguson.
3rd Lee.
Classic
1st Ansley. all damn day no questions asked
2nd Grimes . Regan looks insane rn and I think he'll rock bumstead in every pose but the front lat spread
3rd Bumstead.
Open:
1st Heath. again it won't even be close
2nd Ramy. Apparently walking at 310 rn so he's gonna asbolutely dwarf everyone
3rd Roelly. Granted he looks like he did in Australia

Buendia will take physique but I cannot respect him as a winner because of his personality, trash talk, and worst of all the way he called out Open and had to be put back in his place.
Classic I'm really not sure...feels a bit more like a tossup to me and I'm looking forward to it.
Ramy has basically given it away coming at 310 with a double chin - he won't have the lines that Heath will no matter how hard he tries to sell it as him 'bringing something new' or whatever he has been saying. Heath, again.

Also Shanique Grant is about to start her dynasty, forgot to add her in
I love Classic but I just don't think many people actually watched the posing routines for it last year because that's where Breon shines so much more than any others in the division. I absolutely love Bumstead but I feel the only poses he comes out on top on are his front lat spread and side tri. I'm excited for classic too mainly cause i think it's the only one that will truly be close
