How do you protect yourself from ever being Kavanaugh'ed?

Not a political post but a general question.

What's to stop any female you went to HS or college with from making a vague, unverified, and uncorroborated accusation of some sort of sexual impropriety from any period of your past where your paths had crossed? If you're somehow in the public eye and all they need is a way to place you in the same town during the same time period as them to make a "credible" allegation that can ruin your life, add the name of a friend or two they know you associated with and that somehow adds to the credibility.

If this tactic works, how can we actually protect ourselves from it?

Honestly and sadly, there has been so many accusations of all kind thrown at so many people that the media saturated the audience with it.

Its sad because legit rapist are more likely to get away with their crime now that we consider a wink rape and saying "good morning" harassment.

How does who you associate with matter? 30 years down the road someone you may not have even known could claim you were at the same event or the same bar and caught them alone or with "xyx friend of yours" and sexually assaulted them. How would you defend yourself from that if you don't even know the time frame the allegation is from or where the incident supposedly took place?

I learned couple years after high school someone had accused me of sexual assaulting them. Was my Sr. year prom date, we dated for 3-4 months but never had sex, I legitimately wanted to wait till marriage. We had a nasty breakup, and couple years went by and I dated someone from her friend circle who told me she had spread a rumor that I had basically raped her.

There really isn't anything that you can do to prove otherwise in that situation.. just gotta not be around crazy women/girls

The Democrats have opened a pandora box that will be very very hard to close now.

Any woman holding a grudge, looking for money/ attention or with a political agenda can be used by either party as a tool for character assassination.

This same tool could be used against Democrats in the future by the Republicans, the only difference is that the mainstream media being mostly a leftist propaganda network will silence and disregard these accusations and stories.
