Black face (srs question)
I'm completely unaware about this. Why is black face being made out to be the most offensive thing ever, but when black comedians/actors (I'm assuming some normal everyday ppl as well) paint their faces white nobody cares. People dress up as Mexicans for Halloween, I'm sure people dress as Chinese, etc. everyone could care less about those. like why is this so bad? Please aware me. Halloween is meant to be fun.

It's called a double standard, have you been following politics the last 10 years?
also, I'll leave this here... Apparently Jimmy Kimmel can go full black face AND black body and proceed to mock a black athlete's poor english and intelligence and it's OK. In fact he has a show on ABC.
But apparently saying you see nothing wrong with a person painting their face black to dress as Dianna Ross because you admire her, gets you fired.

edit:
but to be more fair and answer your question, I've seen it first hand. Usually what comes to follow with the chinese costume is the "ching chong" crap. Same with the mexican outfit. Is it really that hard for white brahs to choose a different costume?

If ya haven't noticed, most people find it patronizing to highlight something about them they can't change. Like how miscers feel uncomfortable when you make autism jokes.

Curious what I said that make you think I feel like a victim... I'm just simply pointing out the double standard that Megyn Kelly got torched for a cogent and respectable stance about dressing up as a black person, while more left-of-center celebrities have done it in the past, in a MUCH more disrepectful way, without any blowback (see Jimmy kimmel, RDJ, etc).
And the fact that other races aren't discussed in this apparent slight, makes it seem like the only reason it was brought up was for NBC to virtue signal to black people.

Because it. is. not. ok. to. be. white....this is the current year and people of color have been systematically oppressed through layers of institutionalized racism since the dawn of time and continue to be marginalized by the straight white male aka the devil. You obviously need to be reeducated OP, did you not go to public education, college, social media, or ever watch any modern tv shows, MSM, or hollywood movies? Get with the program.

Megyn Kelly was on the wrong show, and with a history of saying questionable stuff. Not saying it's right, and hell I think she was ignorant, but I wasn't offended by her comments. It's a different time NOW compared to years ago when the man show was relevant. I feel like comparing the two and expecting the same result is dumb.

Megyn Kelly shouldve kept her mouth shut. Audiences, especially hard lefty ones, are going to be super sensitive about anything regarding race. She really should've known better regardless of the channel. I also think she was on thin ice anyways due to her crap ratings.
I don't even like her. She is a whiny, morally condescending bish but I do feel a little sorry for her. But not too bad, she did get a 70 mil severance.

Also it's funny you bring up the N word as a double standard, because it is a HUGE ONE. It is incredibly offensive to call someone the N word... unless you're black of course. Which implies that the amount of offense that words carry depends largely on the ethnic, racial, or social status of the person saying it. Which is completely retarded.
This is exactly my point with Kimmel and Kelly. Kimmel is left, so what he did isn't offensive. Kelly is right, so her simply saying exactly what Kimmel did isn't offensive.... is somehow worthy of firing.

People get way to offended these days. I went to a Halloween party as Hitler one year, it did not go over well. A friend of mine, Johnny Hebrewstein, was super offended.
In hindsight it was probably a bad idea. I should have stuck with my original costume, Osama bin laden.
