USA vs UK during ww2. who would have won in your opinion?

The UK was considered world biggest empire before the end of ww2 and was also able to prevent that the strongest military during ww2 (germany) was able to land on their shore through their sheer naval power.

No insult to the fighting prowess or bravery of the brits..but they would get mauled..simply because they are too small.
