I'm NEVER tipping again (pic)

I already knew that servers made a ton of money (had roommates in college who could complain about "only" making $80 for a 6-hour shift at Chili's), but this is the final straw.

service industry hates him
a series of short tasks over a relatively longer period of time is life. altruistic light moves under the cover of your own darkness.. find this inner torch bearer and accompany them to the end. we all walk together, but we all walk alone. there is no understanding or purpose beyond that

Ironically, I stopped going to a local drive-thru coffee joint because they added a tip line. Brb tipping $1 on a $3 coffee they simply handed to me. Now I go to Starbuck's instead or have cold brew (Madrinas) at home.

I always tip based on service not looks or gender. I'll tip big if the service is ridiculously good or I frequent the place which usually results in them remembering you, which results in even faster/better service. I never tip at Starbucks though that's retarded, why would I tip you for turning around, pulling a handle, and giving me a cup lol

I always gauge by the restaurant. If it's a S-hole establishment and the service was good I'll go overboard, because you know the place is filled with people that can't afford to be out, so they save on tipping. If it's high-end, I'll stick to the 20% rule. 20% on 300 is a F ton more than 35% on 65. And the servers did the same amount of work.

Tipping culture has gone too far. Even pizza joints have a line for you to tip now even though you're carrying out the pizza yourself.

tipping is gay, why can't the restaurant just pay their employees more. I have never went out and thought wow, the service today made the difference, i would grab my food for myself if it meant no tipping

The profit margin for the industry is stuipd low something like 2%. That's why all these cities that raise minimum wage for restaurant employees puts restaurants out of business especially small places
