Didn't really make news here in the UK. Literally spent the whole weekend watching this case
-Chris Watts smothers his 2 young daughters
-strangles his 15 weeks pregnant wife
-burys his wife in a shallow grave
-forces the bodies of his daughters in to an oil barrel on a site he works at
video 1:
Chris arrives home after disposing of the bodies, to find police waiting due to his wife's friend expressing concern for her whereabouts
From the start, Chris told police his wife told him she was going to stay with a friend and took the children.
Notice how he reacts at 1:20 when he sees her purse still on the table (he didn't have time to remove evidence as police were waiting upon arrival)

Neighbour shows police and chriss his cctv footage.
At 1:10 Chris thinks all is about to be revealed - him loading his truck with his families bodies
at 3:50 the unbelievable coincidence of what pops up on the screen

his emotionless interview with news station
video 4:
at 0:36 Chris told he failed the polygraph test
at 45:10 Chris admits to killing his wife to his Dad

I saw the other home movies. It really doesn't matter what's going on, he always has that very "professional" demeaner at all times. Doesn't matter if it's his kids birthdays, police questioning him about their disappearance, it's the exact same. Just a business man handling business.
I know a businessman/business owner who looks like him sort of, carries himself just like him, except he shows genuine emotion especially when it comes to his family and things he cares about.
While a normal person in a professional environment tries to keep their emotions and feeling in check, a sociopath is always trying to push what you expect of an emotional response but often it's inappropriate and hit or miss, like they react to something almost too much and then other things they forget to fake it. Not saying the guy is a sociopath but takes a "special" kind of person to murder his wife and kids, dispose of their bodies and then come back so calm and cool.

I think that they're something different from a sociopath. I think they're largely delusional and ignorant.
For instance, you're planning to murder your family, well guess what, when a woman dies, it's nearly always the male in her life who does it. How do these guys not know that they will be the center of the investigation? They don't because they're delusional and think they're smarter or that it won't go this way this time.
Sociopaths, who are educated enough to be businessmen, rather than ghetto people, tend to be savvy. Guys who murder their family, while having an affair, are stupid and living in a dream.

I just had a case of a 14 year old girl, really smart, who was dating a 32 year old male, and they killed her mom's ex. Poked his eyes out with a knife, etc, and were instantly caught.
I had a serial killer who was muslim. He would walk up to people and ask if Jesus was the son of god. If you said yes, he'd chop your head off. That was before 911 too. He was an American black guy.
Another had 14 women buried under his porch. He'd rape and murder them then stuff them there.
Gary Heidnik was another of mine.
It's either they're psychotic, meaning believe crazy things, or have some mundane motive.

I remember a NJ case where a Rabbi had his wife killed because he didn't want a divorce.
Some of these dudes don't want to appear "tainted" by getting a divorce, so they kill their spouse, which is lol to me. Like, they want to appear "sexy" by being a widower. Scott Peterson had that kinda motive.
