Females, what are some cons to "nice guys"?

There's being neglected. There's the passive-aggressiveness. There's the annoyance. What is it about nice guys that turn you off or you don't want to date them? Any bad experiences?

Defenition of "Nice Guy" - " Nice guys are concerned about looking good and doing ti right. They are happiest when they are making others happy. Nice Guys avoid conflict like the plague and will go to great lengths to avoid upsetting anyone. In general, Nice Guys are peaceful and generous. Nice Guys are especially concerned about pleasing women and being different from other men. In a nutshell, Nice Guys believe that if they are good, giving and caring theh will in return be happy, loved, and fulfilled. That they will be loved, get their needs met, and have a problem free life."-No More Mr. Nice Guy by Dr. Robert Glover

Some nice guys aren’t really “nice” a lot of them are entitled. Just because a guy is nice to you doesn’t mean we are obligated to date you or anything else. Why do you think Mgtow and being an incel is in style. I bet they believe they are “nice” guys.

As a transitioning female, I can confirm that nice guys are nothing but a bunch of desperate, beta cuck soy boys.

I've been in a few long-term relationships with "nice" guys.....the only problem, for me, was that they were good at keeping up that "nice guy" act/persona for too long, until their truer colors eventually had to show through. Men might be able to say the same sentiment though. Everyone knows people put their best foot forward at the beginning of romantic relationships, but it's kind of "unfair" to pretend (very skillfully) to be someone you're not, at a"core level," just to attain or hold onto them. Genuinely "nice" men with good moral character, warmth and sensitivity (gasp!) are vast and taken off the market right away by very smart women!!
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.

Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

Opie, in order to answer your question, I'll need a definition of "nice guy." The definition is subjective, that's why I ask.

There's no downside unless the dude feels entitled to get into your pants or makes the conversation more than what it is.

IMO i've been both nice and mean to diff girls, it all comes down to if the guy is chill and good looking, if you got those 2 checked then it doesn't even matter, gg chad mode life.

When I was young like 18 19 20 I was one of those nice romantic idiots. I'd buy flowers and open car doors and walk my date to the front porch at the end of the night when dropping the. Off and I always got played or dumped in the end.

Finally a friend told me to knock that chit off and to be respectful but also be an ass hole and I haven't looked back since then. The scene is completely flipped.

When I did that it was my dates doing the calling all the time it was my dates asking to come spend the night and just watch movies instead of me doing the asking

You have to be yourself and I'm generally a nice guy but your have to know when and when not to pull the ass hole card

I think romantically "nice" guys are ideal

But sexually they are not

And sometimes the sexual aspect wins out or is the catalyst for a relationship

Well, let's break that definition down to analyze it properly:

1) "They are happiest when they are making others happy." - I believe this should be done by ALL people towards other people. This is a general rule of thumb for humanity. Doing nice things for people makes the world that much more bearable to live in. We're lacking in this department, that's why we have so many selfish azzholes in the world. I do not see anything wrong with men or women having this trait. The key here is to recognize when people are taking advantage of you. Niceness is great and should be spread around. But when it creates entitlement and becomes an expected action from you that causes you a great deal of problems, it's time to stop doing it.

2) "Nice Guys avoid conflict like the plague and will go to great lengths to avoid upsetting anyone." - This is unrealistic. Sure, don't be malicious and abrasive to people or do things for fun to get a rise out of them - but always avoiding conflict? LIFE is a conflict, it's better to be someone who knows how to manage it than avoid it. Personally, I'd worry just a little bit if my guy always avoided conflict - it'd make me wonder if he'd be able to save me from zombies when the apocalypse happens. However, this wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.

3) "In a nutshell, Nice Guys believe that if they are good, giving and caring theh will in return be happy, loved, and fulfilled. That they will be loved, get their needs met, and have a problem free life." - like #1, I don't see anything wrong with this except for the pitfalls of someone taking advantage of you. Also, you shouldn't be THAT naive to the point where someone destroys you. A good level of street smart must be present to survive in 2019. Moreso for men than women. The second part of this quote is just unrealistic. Just because you do nice things and put out nice things in the world, doesn't mean you won't still, occasionally fall victim to an azzhole or two. This doesn't mean you should stop putting out positivity in the world, it just means you shouldn't expect to be compensated in like in return.
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

Hence why there comes a time you have to make s trade off on which is more important to you the kinky great sex or a meaningful and loving relationship.

Both woukd be ideal but that is like winning the lottery it'd just not going to happen .

Bad boy vs. Nice guy

Bad boy is more sexually appealing but is bad for relationships. You continuously see women get into relationships with men they know arent good for them but they cant explain the attraction

I think often times women associate niceness with desperation; like you have nothing else to offer. Therefore its not of genuine niceness its placating and expecting something in return. E.g. if they had something else to offer then pleasing or whatever isnt the focal point

Dominance, strength, assuredness, confidence are all > nice

Place a strong guy next to a nice guy and the strong guy will make him look like a bish

As silence already elucidated, as long as they arent FEMININE, which to me points to a masculine baseline that is more important than "nice" and "nice" is a good subsidiary but is not the main focal point

Basically. Nice produces warm fuzzy feelings but doesnt open the vagina

In reality no one is entitled to anyone’s affection period. Lol at butthurt people wanting to “neg” anyone for contributing to the thread. Like I said if you are entitled you are not a nice guy.

Because the more someone has to say that they're "nice", the less you should believe them.
Nice people don't have to say it to you, their actions speak.
