If a creator of our physical universe exists, then he is obviously located outside of our physical universe.

I am always happy and cheerful, but the last 3 days were horrific for me. Someone that I love dearly faces some bad days, so I cried a lot, wondering where God is. After thinking about it at a deeper level, maybe what I perceive as bad can be someone's wake-up call and journey to become a better person, so maybe it is a blessing.


Therefore, God is in every positive aspect of our life, including the power we have when we push, despite feeling like giving up. And God is in life and love and all the beautiful people we care about, so I think he is everywhere, we just need to count more of his blessings and learn to thank him for the obstacles too.

Philosphical answer:

If we can reason the makeup of the divine - the traits associated to a supreme being, that it is, omniscient, omnipotent, omni-whatever, - he must be these to be absoultely supreme - 'divine'. This then stands to reason, that such an all powerful being cannot be contained within a creation that is limited in design.

This does not preclude him from manifesting himself within a limited space, just that his totality cannot. Furthermore, if such a being created a limited space, it must be for 100% in effect, good and just to do so, meaning: that anything less would indicate a lack of supremacy. This does not disable him from allowing a separate sentient form from existing, but that it has limitation. Not all sentient forms would necessary be the reason for such a creation, rather, ones that were the intended - the ones that deserve eternal manifestation.

And if such a place exists, with sentient forms existing, he cannot undo his will at the mere behest of a contingent sentient being, but he cannot entirely hide himself either - without sacrificing some element of supremacy (in regards to being a rational being - a quality of the divine). Thus there must exist some revelation to occur without undoing his will/purpose for creation.

Christianity fits the bill with this line of logic. So if you want to know where God is, read the new testament. Jesus made it clear that he's the interface to the totality of God - in other words the only thing we can focus upon and sanely understand as God - God in flesh.
