luxury mens wallets are worth it srs

HNNNNNNNG

it's not all about the status pulling out a LV wallet or Goyard gives, but a lot of the reasons why I think it's worth the money is the durability. It literally will last you years and still hold resale value so long as you have proof it's real.

Also, Goyard is the true king imo. I have two LV wallets, but get jelly when I see Goyard. It's a rare sight but those who know, know it's far more exclusive than LV. You can't even buy it online, and boutiques exist only in select cities. It's a bit more expensive as well.

just lmfao a *******s with velcro target wallets.

(no homo)
Look, i know i don't really know you and all, and i know you probably hear this like everyday, but your just so perfect to me. The few hours we talked were really great even if the convo was stale, your really pretty and chill, and your country thats just perfect :'D i really dont know how to explain it, but i think i have feelings for you somehow. i never felt like this with someone i just met, but i felt the need to get it off my chest. sorry for being all weird just idk how to explain it D:

Sounds stupid to me. The concept of spending a ton of money to carry a few cards and some cash seems ridiculous and indicative of a poor person.

Magpul DAKA crew. Bought it about 5 years ago for $16.00. Still in mint condition. Compact and minimal.

look at this poor person.

also I also think dressing as a try hard in luxury looks terrible. At that point if your belt is LV, your shoes are LV, your wallet is LV, and your backpack is LV. it's too fukin much. I'm all about being understated.

I dress casual AF. Only my wallet is "luxury" because i think it's a worthy investment. It's something you use everyday.

for a wallet/bag, here is my corresponding income levels for it to be 'worth it'

$300 (i.e. goyard cardholder) - $150k USD income
$1000 - $200k USD income
$1000 to $2000 - $500k USD income
$2000 to $10,000 - $1.5m + USD income
>$10,000 - $5m + USD income

So if a miscer is pulling 150k USD, a $300 USD goyard cardholder is worth it.
If hugh jackman has a $2,500 USD Damier Graphite LV Bag, it would be appropriate for his income level ($500k +)

My friends in HS used to have LV wallets and sh!t and I know they were broke af... They were fuking 16. I never look at somebody with a luxury wallet and think "wow I bet he's balling". Not to mention so many people buy fake wallets. Even tons of women buy fake purses.

Pull out an Amex black card and let's talk.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

1. That's a bag not a wallet. It has more function.
2. He's wealthy enough to afford that without worry about its cost. However, due to his connections it was likely given to him.
3. I talk to a few people on a regular basis that sell LV merchandise. According to them a pretty large portion of their customer base is lower income. They offer 12-18 month financing on the items so they can afford it. Think about that for a second. Specialize in selling LV merchandise. Most customers are doing a 12 month finance on a purse or bag. Unless its tax return season.

I don't care one way or another I just think its dumb to spend hundreds/thousands on a luxury item when the same task can be completed by something in the $20-50 range. My $16 wallet is literally still in mint condition after carrying it daily for 5 years. Sure I'm sure a LV wallet would be in good condition after 5 years as well. But for the price? That's a lot of money for a logo. If you have money by all means show it off. But if your walking around with LV merchandise and have less then 20K in your bank account lmao.

I bet those wallets really get OP noticed at gay clubs and bars.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

freakin wizard....

I was JUST looking at the titanium Ridge Wallet. A guy I work with just came back from vacation this past Friday, and while at the airport in Paris, he was approached by security and taken to their office. They proceeded to show him security footage of a scumbag waving their phone at his back pocket and low and behold two of his cards were compromised. The thief was able to pick up his card information via an RFID reader.

The casings on those Ridge Wallets are RFID proof...and they're really small. I have a lot of unnecessary crap in my generic old bulky baby-boomer leather wallet. If I buy one it will "force" me to be more of a minimalist with what I carry around.

what kind retarded chit is this.

in what world is $300 a lot of money?

The fact you think $300 is a lot for luxury just proves you are low income. lmfao.

$300 for a French Made, high quality, non china sweatshop made wallet is well worth it to me.
