Overweight, unemployed, can't afford to lose weight (Catch 22)
I want to stick to a strict regiment but I'm not the richest of people right now so I just eat ready made meals, but they are full of sugar, salt, and saturates. I also eat whatever the restaurants and fast food chains in my area have to offer for the nutrients. I try my best to take moderate portions.
However there seems to be a problem, Im barely making progress I've only lost 3 lbs in 2 months. I know its all about calories in calories out so I could just eat 2000 calories worth of bread and peanut butter, but if I dont eat any meat I start to feel sick so thats why I eat whatever the restaurants sell.
The other issue is I have no cooking equipment in my place and am unable to afford any. I only have a kettle and a sink. While I am in this state I am effectively unemployable. I have applied for every job you can imagine, but I am not very appealing with a long time out of work and a weight problem (300lbs).

the idea that it's expensive to eat healthy is garbage
> cheap
> nutritious
> tastes good
> quick
Pick two.
You can buy chicken breast for $1.99/lb.
You can buy salad ingredients for hella cheap - tomato, spring mix, cucumber, onion all enough for several salads for like $8.
Bananas are literally like $0.89 per lb.

Eating unhealthy is expensive especially if it's microwave food, takeaway and you're buying a lot of junk snacks. Healthy is cheap but you just have to put in the effort to prepare/make meals. Water, chicken, salads, pepper/salt, eggs, oats, mince even fish etc all made in humble portions is very cheap when bought in bulk.

a dozen eggs is never more than 2 dollars.
A big tub of cottage cheese (fat free) is never more than $2.
5lbs of clemantines $3-4 bucks
Whey protein is typically around $1 a serving for good stuff
Cans of chili are $1-2 each
Cans of tuna are like 40 cents a can
peanuts/sunflower seed container like $1-2 each
12 pack of raisins (dried grapes) is like $1-2
^someone else said bananas already
Read these options and tell me you can't afford to eat healthy. I ate better than most people with 140-180 grams of protein daily and never spent more than $50 a week at the grocery store including toiletries and cleaning supplies. Do the math on how much it costs to eat out + the crap you make at home. I imagine it is more than $50 a week

Go to a goodwill or salvation army or whatever thrift shop there is where you reside. They should have very inexpensive cooking implements (hot pot, george foreman grill, whatever) Like Jacobcapra said: if you can cook some protein and throw it on top of some lettuce and other inexpensive produce you've got yourself a nice meal. Also oats are dirt cheap so you can boil water in your kettle and make them that way. Not trying to be a dick but financial status is no excuse for weight loss. At 300 lbs with no way to cook I'd venture youre spending quite a bit of money every day to consume enough calories to stay at that weight. Figure out your Base Metabolic Ratehttp://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/and eat less than that.

Not sure if troll post or serious, because this sounds like nothing but excuses. As has been pointed out, it's not expensive to eat healthy and appropriately for weight loss and/or strength building. It just takes a bit more time / work than driving through McDonalds. But frankly if you don't have a job, then you have time to go to the supermarket and shop as well as go out and get exercise.
As for the job, I gotta say there is almost always SOME job out there. You just have to be willing to do it. You might not get the job you want or expect, but start somewhere.
For thousands of years, people just cooked over a fire with a stick. I'm sure you can figure this out too.
Cliffs: you can do it if you reallywantto do it.

A bag of brown rice and pinto beans is like $3 each and will last you weeks. Spending so little, you can afford to include a little quality protein, eggs, some meats and veggies. Just get vegetables that are in-season and they're not that expensive. Shut your fuking lying mouth about not being able to afford to eat healthy, you're just a fat, lazy entitled fuk. Eating fuking fast food and saying you can't afford to eat healthy? Bitch, I could eat three home prepared healthy meals for what you pay for one goddamn visit to McDonalds, you lazy fat son of a bitch.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

you "can't"?
it sounds like you're lazy and don't want to shop, cook, or work out and would rather make excuses.
maybe try the Subway diet. skip breakfast then have a 1,000 calorie 12" sub for lunch and dinner. no snacks. and get out and walk every day.

No wonder you're red OP.
Crock pot = $25
Instant pot = $75
Cheaper if you buy used obviously.
If you don't have a stove these 2 items will handle all of your cooking needs, and I guarantee if you're eating enough fast food and microwaved sh*t to stay a fat as f*ck 300# then the amount of money you'll save cooking at home will offset the cost of the tools to do so in a couple of weeks...

I feel like OP is trolling but fuk it
OP go to aldi with $40 and buy fruit, veggies, and some sandwich meat like Turkey for example.
You have a knife? A bowl? That's all you need.
You probably spend more money in 2 days worth of meals at KFC than the 4 or 5 days of food $40 will get you at Aldi.
Eat only veggies, fruit and sandwich meat. Tap water straight from your sink. Drink it.
Walk around the block and get off misc
Losing weight is simple. Idk why it has anything to do with your job issue. Sounds like excuses

When you are unemployed is the best time to learn to cook healthier. You have time (other that job search, which is in itself a full time job). The ready-made meals are a crutch for people who don't have time to cook. But people pay the price for having someone do it for them, and then a lot of the nutrition was lost when it got packaged for mass production and/or shelf stability.
If you arereallytight on money, all you need is a pot with a lid (At a thrift shop: 2-3 bucks tops) You buy staples - rice, potatoes, onions, carrots, pasta, beans & eggs. Each of these are hearty and nutritious and you can mix and match the various ingredients to make a variety of things with just a pot, some water and heat.
Now, if by "kettle" you mean something like an electric coffee pot, that will limit the options.

OP says he can't afford cooking equipment. Meanwhile i bought my Texas Alexis fleshlight at a thift store for only 6 dollars instead of buying a new one for a $140.
Maybe stop wanting brand new top quality products and simply get what you can op.

Chicken, rice, broccoli
lower portions of rice obviously. Its way cheaper to eat lean and healthy than it is to eat fat fuk foods. You can literally buy bulk frozen chicken and broccoli and rice is cheap as fuarrk.
Bake a chicken breast, boil 1cup dry rice, dice chicken up and mix with 1/2 cup cooked rice. add soy-sauce and sriracha and mix. broccoli on the side
