Waist trainer/corset to reduce waist size?

I'm almost 100% sure some IFBB pros wear these type of stuff to reduce their waist size and get unreal out of this world shoulder to waist ratios.

I'm thinking on getting one, but I'm afraid it can fuk up my lower back/spine due to the added pressure.

Do any of you have any info on this?

I doubt a waist like this is all genetics

Why would you want to do that? BRB feel like you're suffocating all day. I hate shape wear and thankfully don't need it cause it feels awful. Plus I can't imagine the waist trainer stuff would be permanent.

A cartooish shoulder width to waist ratio has always been a goal of mine. Also nowadays thats what the judges in Men's Phyisique go for, and I'd love to compete one day

Well, to each their own I say. If you're curious about it, try it. I don't think you'll like it doe. I'd also guess for the guys you mentioned, it's prob genetics.

Waist trainers are different compared to corsets. Corsets are made with steel bones and can do damage if not rightly sized. Restricting your lungs, fainting, digestion issues, etc.

Waist trainers will just suck the fat in. They won’t change your shape like a corset, but OP, what makes you want that body type?

I use waist trainers...you will not get the look.you want with them. While a corset will do what you are looking for, corsets will cause bodily harm. Do.your research. Benefits do NOT outweigh risks.

As for the clowns with no info but to shame someone behind a keyboard, most of y'all don't know what a fit physique even looks like. You suck in your guts...
