Personally, I wouldn't. The world is chaotic, nature is random and heartless toward individuals, and consciousness is a double-edged sword.
It's really important to find effective coping strategies if you didn't hit the genetic lottery or the perfect combination of circumstances when growing up.

That's a fair point. Many studies have attributed many negative things to social media ( depression and suicide rates for example).
It's also important to note that social media just served as mean through which previously hidden things could be publicly broadcasted.

Yeah but mostly because I feel I ended up above average so far. Better pay than most my age, multiple relationships, etc. It's subjective though, if I knew my worst moments on the earth and how I would die, that might sway me one direction or the other on this topic.

I think several people would be happier and the world would be a better place if I was never born.

Guess it's pretty simple for me.

Father's parents were shot to death when he was 7. Grew up alone since then in his brother's house who was always abroad for work. Large house, 7 year old, living alone... Not going to go well.

He abused the hell out of me as a child and damaged the living fuk out of me. Not getting beat by my father was the happiest moments I had as a child. Just lol at avoiding a negative being the happiest moments. I get if parents abuse if justified but this wasn't, he'd smack me anytime he felt off or disrespected. I legitimately never felt like I had a father to talk to. It was just his way of releasing frustration I guess. A lot of it stemmed from his extreme insecurity and anger. Fukking 5'3 manlet and damaged af is not a good combo. Once while in university I texted him starting the text with "hey" and he refused to talk to me for a week because he felt disrespected. That's how psycho he was and this was after he had decided to change.

I changed my life a great deal and it helped being an aestheticcel so I guess it helps stay afloat if women are always hitting on you everywhere you go (but now I'm balding and look a bit older and hair sucks so wth) but last summer I developed an extremely rare disorder that I've only now defeated but debilitated me. Now I no longer am able to derive pleasure or genuinely feel happy or many normal emotions humans feel in response to things. The only one remaining is the ability to laugh if I find something funny in the moment.

No child deserves the childhood I deserved and despite everything I've done to change myself it seems life decided to throw me another curveball last year as a big fuk you. When you cannot feel the emotina normal people feel what's the reason of life?
