My 10 day water fast starts today

I've only ever done 24-40 hour fasts before, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. Not going to be gyming it. Some 2-3 mile walks with the dog and some light tennis is it.

How long do you boyos give me?

1. Make sure you get your sodium and potassium.
2. Any kind of fasting is bad if you want to maintain performance in the gym. It's only good for sedentary fat people who have no muscle to protect to begin with.

The most I ever fasted for was 4 days I think, a real water fast though, no salts no nothing just water, but I did train and went to the gym though, my muscles were still strong, I just needed a lot of rest (would sleep 10-12 hrs)

It's possible dude.

Mate of mine does it himself but he usually does it for a whole month or does two months only on oranges.

There are supposedly lots of other health benefits to fasting. I'm skeptical, but want to try for myself.

Good luck OP.

I saw a documentary on Amazon a couple months ago on the health benefits of fasting. It was eye opening. Fasting alone can cure so many ailments. Forget diet/herbal fads for getting rid of toxins in your body. Fasting is the way to go.

Reminds me that I need to get back on IF.

It's soooooooo hard though. Hunger is a helluva drive.

water fast, in the phillippines they do not have proper water system in place, very dangerous to drink water from faucets, hard to get water sources. Kids dehydrated people dehyrdated suffering and your going on a water fast
I just want to share the knowledge I have obtained throughout my life and hopefully change someone's life.

How ironic. I'm starting 10 days of gorging on juicy steaks, cheesy pizza and smoked pork. See you on the other side.

A kid on YouTube fasted for 30 days and cataloged everything. Pretty fascinating thing, the body uses up everything it can. At the end of 30 days even all his scars were gone. Go too long though and your body starts eating it’s own organs . . .

Nope.

But if I were ever to be diagnosed with a serious illness, two week fast would be the first thing I do.

There are fasting retreats for people suffering from all kinds of ailments.

Its actually pretty fascinating how long some people are able to not eat at all. I feel like the average person can barely skip 2 meals before thinking they are starving.
