Let’s be real. How prevalent is cheating?
If you feel you have an anonymous profile on here speak truthfully.
I have fuked a girl or two with a bf. I think both were new relationships for them, but none the less. Didnt know the bf in any sort of way.
I have never cheated, but as I get older and wiser to the real world, I definitely see how it happens, and notice it more.
I’ve done shady chit before technically being exclusive and I know girls have too. But after the title goes on I’ve done nothing really too too bad. Nothing like straight up fuking a girl or even kissing.
Monkey branching, flirting, what have you observed from your friends or done yourself?

Agree with SS that I think it's very prevalent. I had so many married guys message me when I was online dating and I've had married coworkers hit on me. Also want to add that all cheating may not be physical, but tons of married/taken people cheat by messaging people of the opposite sex to flirt, sext and send/receive noodz.

It must be a lot harder for attractive couples not to cheat, imagine a guy married to a 40 year old woman, and has a 21 year old hitting on him at work.
Must be easy for ugly guys to stay "loyal" who have to try desperately hard to bang a pig.

I used to post on a message board that was pretty much mostly marrieds flirting with each other, sexting and sending noodz. A bunch of them actually met up for sex. Not even joking. There would be threads from the SO's who found their messages or Kiks asking people to come forward so they could use it in court for the divorce. lmao

Too prevalent. That's why I believe people shouldn't get married any more unless they have a strict moral code that they abide by in all aspects of their life (religious people, spiritual people etc.). The logic of getting married without a strict moral code doesn't make sense to me. Why would you want to get married then? To gain some extra perks from the government (tax write-offs) or to appease a hypocritical social circle?
Rather be single if I know my moral compass is made out of play dough. Just gotta be real with yourself.

Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

JMHO...if you have kids, I feel you have an obligation to them to give them 2 good parents in a healthy environment. You, as parents, need to set your differences aside and take some resposibility for once in your lives.
I know I'm going to be far outweighed here but that's me feelings on the subject.

There's no way to really know for sure, but I do know for a fact that there has been some sort of cheating in at least 50% of the married couples in my social circle.
READ THIS: You know how your Visa gift cards usually end up with $0.63 left on them, so then you carry them around for months before you eventually just throw them away? Well, Tarck's here to tell you that most charities have a PayPal link on their website where you can quickly donate that balance (even if you don't have a PayPal account). It only takes a moment and it beats literally throwing money away. Thanks for your time; we now return to your regularly scheduled cuckold and FA threads.

Do both cheat then? Or if you believe in the reacher / settler theory with dating then is it the settler that’s more likely to cheat ? Any experience here with people knowing cheaters? We’re they the ‘better’ one in the relationship?

Dunno in the real world but based off numbers given it seems to be high. At college it was happening everywhere so...
I’ve banged a few girls with boyfriends or baby mamas though I tried to stick clear of that the best I could. Every time it was with a girl who had a bf it was pretty much all her, often times tricked or trapped into doing it. I had a really high natty test level prior to what the dea did to me. So basically the women seemed to know exactly how to play the hand to get me to do it.
Pretty sad tbh kind of a ****ty thing to do.

For myself it would be 100% better to leave but for my kids it would be 100% better to quietly work it out without them ever knowing. I don’t know what I would choose. I do understand women who decide to work it out for the kids sake.

I dont think ive ever had sex with a woman in a relationship.
But let me just put it this way. A womans status has NEVER been a deterrant regarding interest. Ive posted a story on here about a woman and her husband and how i was supposed to make a website for them. Long story short she was flirting and then at the end she gave me a card with her pic and email and stuff.. And the husband intercepted and told me "i check both emails"
This is just the very, very tip. I have so many stories
Married/ bf doesnt matter - the deterrant is more on my end and not wanting to get into that drama
And ive talked to and sexted plenty of women..and then later see something like "i love my bf" and im like shiattttt
But again. This is not everybody, but id say SUPER common. Prob closer to 70/80% than 50% or 30%.
There are so many aspects to it. Tumultuous relationship/ fight/ away on vacation, etc.

People tend to associate with people like themselves.
One suicide at a high school is a signal for the school to watch the other students carefully, as another may follow soon.Source 1
Workplaces which have a prominent person quit suddenly watch out for others to do so.Source 2
Social circles which have one couple divorce, well other members of that circle start getting ideas.Source 3
If someone in your social circle has a baby, it's more likely you will, too.Source 4.
The saying is that you're the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Obviously this is not literally true or I'd be one-fifth pre-schooler. But there's some wisdom to it. You're influenced by the people around you. If everyone you know is honest, well-educated and ambitious, it's quite hard for you to end up homeless. If everyone you know never finished high school, half of them are on drugs and almost all of them have single parents, it's going to be hard for you to get a good education or job and have stable intimate relationships.
The person who grew up next to Harvard imagines everyone is well-educated, the person who grew up in a rural town where the mill closed down and everyone's on welfare imagines everyone is jobless. For either of them to change their lifestyle, they would have to move away from that area.
If you spend time among people who are screwing around and divorcing, this won't necessarily end your marriage, but it sure as sht won't help it.
If we are not born in a walled ghetto or extreme poverty, then we do have some control over who we spend time with. Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas. As much as can be managed, a person should spend time with people whose lifestyle, values and behaviour are what they themselves want. Going on message boards or dating apps where there are a lot of married people screwing around is not going to assist in finding a stable long-term relationship, but the existence of those things should not be taken as evidence thatnobodyhas a stable long-term relationship, any more than the existence of the guy on the corner selling quarter ounces of meth is evidence that nobody is sober.

I think it is reasonably prevalent. What blows my mind even more is the facade people put on with social media while secretly fking around or being completely unhappy in their relationship. I've lost track of how many times I'll see a post on social media where someone is praising their significant other ... all the while they're either miserable and/or fking around behind their back. I've legit seen someone all lovey-dovey on ******** one week to being split-up/divorced the next.
That kind of chit has made me very skeptical of just about everyone. The lengths people will go to in order to white-lie or put on a front is pretty damn amazing.
