There is a sewer system. It's called the Ganges.

Im not sure what cities are worst.. but i've heard from a few people that the streets are actually covered in sh!t. and the smells are horrid.. but i also read on someones travel blog about good smells of cooking mixed in with the sh!t smells..

I read this crazy article about a month ago about a boy in india who ate some dirty parasite ridden pork and his brain got infested with tape worms..

Not as bad as you would think, the noise and air pollution is much worse than sewage issues. I did see an orange piss-lake running off from an open air urinal in New Delhi. It was metres wide and looked maybe 6 inches deep. That smelled pretty bad.

Imagine if everywhere you look someone is having a poo. Why would something simple like b.o. bother you if your entire country smells like chit?

Something like 80% of the worlds top polluted cities are in India

No running plumbing for most of its people

I can imagine with a population of 1 billion+ having a penchant for spicy food it’s quite pungent

But at the end of the day it’s only smells

When you smell something.. actual particles of it are entering your nostrils
