going bald is brutal

im 32 and receding pretty bad on my temples and hairline overall. I feel sick to my stomach when i look at my hair in the mirror. it's very depressing. although it's somewhat normal at my age, it still hurts. can't imagine being a younger brah in his early 20s and suffering the same fate, ****ing cruel. science is a field dominated by men, we must look for a cure other than propecia/hair transplants for our fellow men who are suffering this great curse. btw i got an appt set up next week to get my fin prescription; no ****s given about sides.

do 0.5mg per day or 3x 1mg per week. the vast majority of people don't need 1mg every day.

then get a transplant to fill out the temples and wait until there is a cure in 5 years (jk, but who knows right??)

It’s only brutal if you make it brutal, I thought like you and felt terrible like you when I first realized I was receding, two years in I just don’t care anymore, it doesn’t adversely affect anything in my life, develop a personality and just tell yourself you’ll get a hair transplant in the future if it makes you feel any better.

I lost every single hair on my head in a 2 month span. It definitely sucks but now that's it all gone its not as bad. Having half an eyebrow and little patches of hair sucked.

Hairloss isn't always because you are getting older, I think genetics play a bigger role then age, some guys start losing their hair in their teens and some guys never lose their hair at all.

It's a sign of your mortality though. A sign that nothing lasts. I have always shaved my head even in childhood. Got a decent jawline and head for it.

Doesn't matter, you can still pick up loads of girls. Have you seen how the average guy looks? I've seen some absolute goblins picking up sexy stacies. And by some I mean the majority of the time that's what I see.

Putting on some weight or losing some hair....it affects YOU way more than anyone around you. Your insecurities make you feel way uglier than people think you are. It's the mind games that fuk with your confidence, make you stop getting girls and the loop completes by you thinking it's the hair and not your personality/lack of confidence.

You are absolutely spot on with this. I did alright with girls before when I had hair but I still wasn't great. After I lost my hair I started to realize that I'm the same person and honestly that person wasn't as great and exciting as I thought I was. The only one who cares that I'm bald is me. Most people don't even remember me with hair and I'm starting to forget myself.

Hopefully there's a cure soon. I think it has to do with proteins blocking the hair follicle which inhibits nutrients from nuirishing the hair follicle to grow. If there can be a molecule that bonds and removes that blockage then I feel like hair should grow back

I fell in a deep depression when i first started balding badly.
I kept thinking ''what's the point of it all?''
Brb no more women, brb being bald, brb looking older than i am.
That chit can mess with your head. And every day you wake up with less hair. It's a confidence killer for sure.

Hopping on fin has been a life saver for me. On it now for 4.5 months. Zero sides. Kept my hair and have minor regrowth.
But most importantly i stopped balding.
I'm not here to advertise anything, just sharing my story. Hopefully i won't experience sides in the long run, but it changed my entire mentality/confidence etc for the better. Gave me new hope.
Now all i need is to save up for a hair transplant in the future and i'll be solid.
